Embassy needs to be upgraded. The system running here is too old. No proper AC is there and it is too hot. No proper seatings for public. Staff is not supportive and families often face issues

Being the representative of a country an Embassy should be outstanding with its services and facilities. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Pakistan embassy. Sorry to say but it is pathetic.
To start with I called the embassy contact number and the automated voice message only caters in English. Last I checked Pakistanis mostly understand Urdu. There should be an option to choose for.

While renewing my passport I had one of the worst experiences of my life. Took me 3 hours to pay the Passport fee which by the way they only accept cash. I was given a token number 161 and I waited patiently in the waiting area for my turn. After 3 hours it turns out the queue is falling short and most of the people who came after me had already done what they came for and left. Leaving my poor soul waiting for my turn. So I approached a man sitting on the counter, to my surprise I was informed that they are not following the turn by turn token system and anyone can pay the fee.

After paying 251 AED which I have no idea in this 21st century why we cannot pay online or with card. It has to be cash and to the cashiers convenience it should be exact cash or you might end up upsetting him.

From there I joined another queue where my picture was taken. Then I was directed towards a counter where a man was talking on the phone for God knows how long and I was pointed to give my finger prints. This guy was hell as rude and did his job by pointing fingers as his mouth was busy taking personal calls.
No one informs what the next step is, i felt like I am in a sheep herd and being guided by a stick.

The passport commissioner or whoever he was in the office had pathetic attitude and even a worse office.
The cabinet doors were broken and there was more paper everywhere than the whole of Pakistan.

Overall it was a pathetic experience and I wish good luck to anyone who is looking forward to go there.
