Lots of restaurants and cozy - however very luxurious - environment. It's the very last hotel on the wall of Jumeirah beach. Unfortunately all the restaurants are at ground floor, no rooftop.
I've been here a couple of times, we paid entrance for the beach and pool access and it's always the same story. You have to argue with them to get the sunbed, to get umbrella. We never managed to get both. I don't understand what are we paying for if we cannot get even basic.
Stay here often, big rooms with great views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff at breakfast time were amazing. Will be paying g another visit soon. Be aware there are lots of building works going on currently.
Boasts itself as a 5* hotel but with Dubai standards it's clearly a 4* looking at first impressions at least (I checked in with my family just a few hours ago). Judging from things like the look of the entrance at arrival to the preparation of our family suite - or lack of it rather. I checked in electronically about a day prior to our arrival and was given a room at the same time so should have been plenty of time to make the extra beds for our kids instead of having to wait for the poor staff to do it at 2am with a baby crying in the background. Also, only one bathroom out of two is properly equipped with towels etc. Not a good first impression to say the least. All staff we have had contact with has been lovely though but management need to step up their game for the fifth star.
Hotel is quite big, service is very high class and the rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend.
Beautiful resort at a couldn't get better location! The best part is the great people who work at the resort some of whom deserve a special mention such as Ansar Bhokari, the front office manager who provided us the best check in experience ! Highly recommended if you are in Dubai. Perfect place for a family vacation.
We went there for breakfast and beach access. The staff were so kind and friendly.
There was a small misunderstanding and one of the managers Pueesh resolved it so fast and used simple good common sense which is so hard to find normally.
Great Day and felt we were well looked after will be revisiting again soon.
Enjoyed the Christmas Eve dinner with my wife at Gastro Kitchen restaurant at Double Tree.
Total privacy here. Guests can enjoy quiet time by the private beach area and have nice oysters at the bar. The price is slightly higher than the other hotels but it's because they have seclusion of beach and 1,2 or 3 roomed suites. Very comfortable. Worth the money spent.
Lot of traffic to get there. Good hotel very nice interiors great pool side. Nice atmosphere around. Am Madea restaurant wasn't that great for its brunch but was superb for the sheesha and the views. We were a little surprised when we were told no more beverages after 3:30PM since the brunch ends at 4PM.
They lost my phone and wallet at the beach loungers, were incredibly unprofessional at handling it. They could only find it the next day, by that time I had cancelled my bank cards already. Very poor from such an expensive place.
We've been trying to call the hotel and book Friday brunch. firstly they connected us three times to the f&b reservations to the switched off du line, then after complaining the telephone operator gave a direct line to the same nu(!!!!!) which still closed! When we started calling again, they simply closing lines on our faces!!!!! Train your staff for basic rules how to handle calls! He could simply took our no and call us back! It's shame, you just lost 15 persons booking that goes to you neighbors Sheraton!
Great property, great staff - four stars instead of five because getting in and out of Business Bay because of the construction is an issue!
A brilliant pool for both adults and kids. Great food as well
Nice views .. good rooms .. located in the walk .. staff are pro..
excellent hotel .. currently experiencing heavy construction in front of the hotel .. a lot of noise .. also, location at the end of JBR .. direct and private access to the beach ..
Although the gym is small, it has all the essential equipments. The spa looks really nice and you can spend a great time relaxing there between the sauna, steam room and the jacuzzi. The swimming pool is also great and you have a nice view of the Blue water Island and its wheel
Friendly staff - excellent location. Would definitely stay again
The hotel staff not trained well. Super rude to customers. no security, someone stole my property from pool area and they didn't even care to make us feel like they were doing their best to find it. instead I had to keep calling and asking if they were looking for it. I'm very very disappointed. The staff is not friendly or helpful. They called us names for being american but they did not know our friends understood their language. I don't ever want to book a Hilton property because the quality is definitely going way way down, all my friends have noticed and stopped booking Hilton properties. Also one of the bedrooms in our suite the bed was disgusting with stained sheets and hair. And when we called to complain the reception said "well that's why you have to check your bed before getting in. lol unbelievable. So much for being a Hilton Honors member.
really really good for a double tree, could be a Hilton due to good facilities and polite staff
The hotel design is a nightmare, there's no way you can get used to it. Breakfast is good and pool area is nice too. There too many doors in some places, very strange design.
I was going to rate it with 3 stars but I'll downgrade It to two because of the elevators. Crazy!!
24 HOUR Construction work!!!! NO SLEEP ALL WEEK!
Should be zero stars!!!
We came here the same week last February (2016) & stayed in exactly the same 3 bedroom apartment (1501). Myself, Wife & 4 kids have travelled here for Feb half term 2017 & 40th birthday. There is a small note on the booking email saying that "some development works may be visible or audible". What a joke. There is literally 24 hour massive construction work right beside / below us. 16 massive articulated lorries all reversing with warning beepers going, huge diggers and lots of foundation piling rigs hammering into the rock..! The horns of the diggers, dump trucks & lorries are constantly being sounded & workers shouting. There's even a concrete works This is 24 hours. NON STOP!!! We have had to move hotel after 4 nights of zero sleep. We tried ear plugs & music but the noise is unbelievable. (Yes it really is 24 hours!) The room rates are exactly the same as usual (no discount for the disruption). When we complained to the Manager and then Director of the hotel we were told that we can move but there would be no compensation on the room rate We explained that their website description was totally inadequate to allow us to make an informed decision on the original booking and we would of course never booked and also spent thousands flying here had we known.! They admitted that they know it's an issue but they won't refund anyone as otherwise everyone will complain. We said it's not a minor complaint: you can't hear each other talk in the room let alone sleep!!! This apartment should not have been rented out. They also admitted that they know the work is regularly 24 hours in nature but don't want to put off customers. It is tantamount to fraud!!! DO NO STAY HERE FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 2 YEARS (that is how long they said the works will continue for). As you can see from this profile we do not review often but we feel compelled on this occasion as the hotel are deliberately misleading potential customers..!!! PS I can't upload the video of the nighttime works but the noise is truly shocking!
Beautiful place. Smiling and helpful staff, beautiful rooms, excellent food. Highly recommended.
Great location. Easy walk to JBR beach shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Nice view. Clean beach. Large pool. Family friendly.
