    Dear Sir,

I am Mr. Rito Hinay from Panasonic UAE.
We have a plan to have a business trip to Oman,
I would like to know whether my work designation as Technical Supervisor can get Visa on Arrival in Oman.
I checked the website and it is already mentioned but just want to make sure.
I was trying to call Oman Embassy but no answers.

Thank you and appreciate your prompt reply.

    Best Regards,
    Rito

Just a quick update: they no longer accept manual forms. You will have to apply online. The Person at the Visa Section was very rude and do not accept any questions.

I am currently a resident of Dubai (Indian passport) and I just received my Visa from the Oman Consulate at Dubai. Please follow the points below

    1. Do not bother calling the place, you will rarely get a response. Please drive over there and meet them in person. There is a small building outside the consulate called Visas section. You will be given a form to fill out (nothing elaborate just basic details)

    2. Please bring one pp photo, 2 photocopies of your passport and residency visa (there are no photocopy places close by., the nearest is a good 10 walk by Burjuman Station.

    3. The cost at the time of this writing is 50AED. Please ensure you have correct change, they do not have change and do not accept cards.

    4. There is parking on the opposite side (314A RTA)

    5. It typically takes 24 hours for the visa to be done.

    6. The timings are mentioned as 8 to 1, but its more of 9 to 11.30. Go within these times.

    9. The people there are very polite and courteous.

I've been trying to call the Oman consulate every 15 minutes for the past two days and i get no answer on the land line number. It's a tad frustrating to be honest as i have also emailed them and i am still to receive a reply.

This consulate is a joke. They never answer the phone, the online visa platform doesn't work and there's absolutely no information available online. What a pity

I wanted to get a tourist visa to oman. and I went to the Oman consulate. the visa section is just outside the main building. and is a small room.

When inquire from them. they simply gave me a web address and asked me to apply online.

As per my knowledge. you have to apply online. simple as that. so you dont need to wast your time.

I tried calling the landline no. to enquire on how to visit hatta pools nowadays. As I read on a lot of reviews that this area can no longer visit by expats, so I called to re confirm the information and ask for advice.

Called how many times and no one ever answer the calls!!

You can try the phone a hundred times or more and be sure that no one will answer. Be prepared to waste a good one hour(or more) of your day waiting for no reason if you are there to get your passport stamped. Their visa section is supposed to be open from 8AM - 1PM but no one shows up until past 8.30 AM. And if you show up after 11 AM you will be very curtly informed that you are 'late', and should have come here as soon as the embassy opened. The service does not even deserve a single star but looks like this is be least I am allowed to give
