Spoken to a lady on the phone just to get some simple information regarding how to extend my dubai tourist visa.
She was quite blunt, and was rude and failed to understand what I wanted. She also interrupted me and tried to answer my question before I could finish.

Total waste of time, all they want to do is direct you to the website so they don't have to speak to you. Might as well close the embassy and put all services online as this is what you're doing anyway.

Worst embassy ever. We applied for a visa and they mentionned that it will take maximum 15 working days to be issued. Its been now 16 working days still nothing and you have no one to follow up with.!!even with the emergency nbr u dial for money no one helpes. MY aunt passed away and they have my passport since june 18 and i canot get it back even without the visa to go home.
Will never step foot in that country again. Completly unprofessional with no sense of empathy or even sense!!response / report this review -

Phone them at 11.30 when the closing time is listed as 14.30 and you'll hear that the embassy is now closed. Not the first time I've found the embassy lacking in service delivery.

Trying to get a reply from the consulate is proving extremely difficult. I thought one of their purposes is to support British nationals and their families - well this time they are falling well short of an acceptable level of performance. Answer emails in a timely manner ,that's the least you can do!

They either don't know anything about their visas or too afraid to give wrong info and ask to call a UK number which charges "£1.37 per minute on top of your standard network charges" - which was useless as well!

Parking was a great issue as construction work is in progress in front of the embassy so there were no designated parkings for visitors. I had to use the American embassy parkings which resulted in a little walk, that wouldn’t be a problem if the weather was not as hot and humid as it was when I went.
