The team at Aster Discovery Gardens is simply outstanding !
Having been to 4 Aster Clinics in last 4 weeks, and having interacted with 6 doctors, I have to admit that the team at Aster Discovery are better than the rest. The supervisor on shift, Vishnu is hands-on, understood my health complications and responded swiftly to the situation.

Bravo Aster Discovery. This kind of clinics deserves 5 stars and salute because once you enter in the clinic you will feel the positive attitude of their staffs. Also the staffs are very helpful, friendly and they will assist you very well. Good job Aster Discovery.

I went to Aster for a routine check-up. When I received my report, I noticed that some tests had not been conducted owing to some misunderstanding.

I called up Aster to check, and would like to express my gratitude to Mr Vishnu (Admin or billing team) as he was extremely helpful and as promised called me back within 15 minutes. He clarified that I would need to submit samples again and on reaching the clinic, he attended to me immediately and helped me with immediate registration and formalities. I gave my blood samples, and received my expected reports even before I returned back home (which is hardly 10 minutes away from the clinic).

Mr Vishnu then called later in the evening to confirm if I had received the reports. This kind of customer friendly services are very much appreciated.
Thank you once again for being so responsive and patient with me. 😃👍🏻

Last week I did full health check up and experience was amazing. It was smooth, fast, and professional. Doctors and lady who was accompanying me was outstanding. I received printed reports and by message, which is so great. I am really happy with the service and highly recommend. They have different health check up packages and will go extra mile to satisfy your needs.

I have been visiting this clinic from past few years and the quality of staff and service is degrading day by day. I visited a few days back with my 2year old son as a walk in and the receptionist told me to come in the afternoon at 1:30 as pediatrician is not available. I visited again in the afternoon as the same guy very rudely told me doctor will only see walk in patients after 8pm and if I want to wait then it may take more than 2 hours. He did not pay any attention to us as he and the female nurse was more busy arguing about their work.

My father and I had visited Aster Clinic at DG couple of days earlier. My dad is 75 years old and on a visit visa here in Dubai. Had informed the GP doctor that he was diabetic and was feeling very weak. She rushed through some medical names and food to give my dad during medication. I couldn't pick up all of it and asked kindly if she could repeat herself. She said she has patients waiting and cannot repeat everything back to all patients. Unprofessional and rude comment. Sorry but I do not wish to disclose the persons name here. But yes it is a female doctor. I paid close to 800aed at Aster for the single visit (includes medicines). Every patient should be treated with care and respect. Can you believe her comment: I have other patients waiting? If my dad wasn't with me believe me she would have heard a mouthful from me. My father fainted today morning and was later admitted at a hospital in Abudhabi. The doctor mentioned that the medicines prescribed by the doctor at Aster was of heavy dosage and not to be consumed by person of my dads age. Especially for elderly people, please consult a doctor from another hospital folks. Kind advise.

From last 2 years me and my family are going Aster clinic but this time my experience was very bad. I have not been guided properly by doctor and other members, below are the incident:
1. Doctor did`t tell me the medical certificate process properly nor he referred to somebody because of that now I am not able to get the medical certificate
2. Registration person has given me wrong token which resulted me waiting more than 2.5 hrs and even after multiple request to on duty sister nothing has been done and being a patient I had to wait for more than 2.5hrs
3. Called customer care center to connect to doctor as there was no improvement with the prescribed medicine and they couldn`t and suggested me there will be a call back which didn`t happen upto 3 hrs. My point was, when a patient is trying to connect to doctor definitely there will be something urgent which should be taken care of immediately ,if it doesn`t, it means hospital/clinic doesn't care for patient.

I had juz red the feedbacks and realize this place is a waste. Certainly not for humans as previous person mentioned. Entire team Aster, management need to understand what they produce as a clinic not a butcher shop. Staff is slow and not willing to help. This is a clinic not a super market. Management need to take a serious look at their procedures not wasting people time at this place specially people visit this place not for fun but to get treated and medicines. Aster missing out details.

Pharmacy is another joke. Just to get some pandols for fever that need to spend minimum 3 hours and pharmacy another 2 hours. Great.

Dr. Franson the Pediatric is an amazing and pleasant doctor, full of positive vibes. I really recommend him to other parents who needs a Pediatric. However, set up of the clinic is poor and crowded. Don't have enough space to move around, you might bump into other people.

I went to Aster Clinic in Discovery Gardens today with my sick 9 month old son. We received ZERO service despite having an appointment.

45 minutes after waiting in the clinic, I asked them where the doctor was and found out he was sick.

Why didn't anyone bother to tell me?

I asked to see another pediatrician. The manager disappeared.

I asked to see the manager. He returned to tell me it would take some time to see the other padiatrician.

I asked, "how much time, I've already been here 45 minutes."

No answer.

Is this acceptable to you Aster? It certainly isn't for me. YOU made a mistake and offered me nothing but problems. What I would have expected is for YOUR representative to come to me and tell me they made a mistake and offer me a solution. I spoke to 3 receptionists, 1 nurse and 1 manager. I got nothing out of it.

Your tagline should be "MAYBE we will serve you."

Google should have a ZERO star option, because that would be most appropriate for this review.

Very outdated systems and staff. The employees at the reception are very rude and lack any common sense. We had an appointment for a scan by referral from another aster branch and we made it on time. Unfortunately, the they did not let us in because we did not bring the little piece of paper that says "referral" and we had to wait for them to send a camel to bring it from the other branch.
It was not the first time to face such poor service at Aster clinics where they meet none of their values hanged on the wall.

Horrible place went to take a flu shot for my son today.The infrastructure not suitable for a health clinic.Healthy people will also fall sick. Too crowded. Doctors and nurses are good. But disappointed with the front desk cashiers. I had a full insurance cover for the vaccination. They kept asking me to wait for 2 hrs when I asked about the cash payments to be made.After two hours they are telling I don't have to pay.kindly educate the staff about health insurance .

I really appreciated Dr. Suma Thomas as a Gynecologist, great service! Good and responsible doctor I've ever met.
The only thing is some reception staff, they have slow service. While you are talking with them, you have to repeat 2 to 3 times before they answer or respond.

More like visiting a fish market. I had to take a stool test wait for weeks to be called. No proper follow up. Every time they take a blood test they say they will call and email the blood report but never did. You clearly need to keep 3 to 4 hours if you want to just visit a GP and get some pills from the pharmacy. They have a very good advertising campaign to attract patients and then does not treat the same way till the end. This experience i share is not one but with many visits I had with them. Pathetic!

A pretty decent clinic! It has good doctors, but it is best if you book an appointment before you go because otherwise the wait could be long. my take to that is if there are a lot of patients are waiting for a consultation, that means that doctor has much of patient, if a doctor is having more patient that means that the doctor is good. Right?. In my opinion it is really one of the best best clinic in the Gardens area.

Horrible service! Went there twice and didn't even see a doctor. First, we called to ask for ear piercing of my baby if a doctor is available, they said yes, and we don't need any appointment because it is very quick. When we arrived they said the doctor is not there because he's not feeling well. Then we call again after 3 days, again they said no need for appointment. We were in line for the registration for almost 15mins , then they gave us a number and waited almost an hour then they told us during our turn that the machine for ear piercing was not working and in our paper it says for tomorrow. They let us wait for an hour before you found out your machine is not working??? Didn't even hear an apology from the staffs for the two visit! unbelievable!

I consider Dr Franson as the best pediatrician in the area!

It will be good, If you have an appointment, otherwise, you will have to wait a bit. The clinic is crowded all the time. But again, they have a very good token system to serve the patients in First come first basis. Overall, I am happy with the service.

I had an injury on my left knee since few months. One of my friends suggested to consult with Aster . I visited there and the way they treated me is amazing. Never expected such hospitality from a hospital. Dr suggested for X-ray then MRI. Diagnosed exact problem and after two weeks treatment I am perfect now. Dr Harshwardhan is an expert and I am happy with doctor as well as hospital .

I will write my whole experience and you decide yourself..
I called the call center of Aster to ask if they are available to the couple of blood test etc in DG branch. Call center told me that they reached the branch and leaved my contact details so branch will call me to inform..They never called anyhow i went to branch and do the testes including X ray. And than they called me same they saying that there was a problem with X ray machine so i need to come back but they didn't know when the machine will get fix so they promised me to call back which is never happened. Anyhow i went back next day, machine was fine gave a xray again. After 2 days i received and text saying that results are ready come collect. I had a doctor appointment anyway so i went at 8:20 for the appointment. Turns out some results are not ready and the others under wrong doctor name so Lab Doctor needs to change in the system but no body know when the lab doctor will come. Now already 9:30 i am waiting over 80 minutes and can't even get clear answer for the situation.. All the staff keep talking in their own language so i can't understand also.. This place just left me speechless!

i have visited aster clinic in gardens to consult ENT dr,but unfortunately dr is not available . however the staff siting in the reception arranged a dr in Tcom clinic and he called the clinic and booked appmnts for me . Very much supportive attitude from the staffs in Discovery gardens. I seen dr in other clinic and i am very much thankful for their service. Excellent and keep up and i will recommend all my friends and colleges to Aster

Very disappointing. I was waiting more than half an hour for appointment with orthopedist (what is the point of appointment then?). Between X rays and doctor's examination I waited another 20 min. The whole examination and X rays altogether took maybe 15 min, but I spent hour and 20 min there. No place to file a complain, no one in the office and receptionist were just looking at me when I complained for doctor being late for half an hour. No one cares.

Excellent staff service in Aster Clinic, Discovery Gardens. I met Dr Neethu (Gynec) Wonderful experience with doctor. Clinic was so congested but the staffs are managing patients nicely and i appreciate everyone for their hard effort to serve each and every patients with the limited space .

Very bad service. From the staff at the reception to the Doctors. It's just worsening day by day. The clinic is no less than a fish market! I waited for almost two hours to meet the Doctor. When I met the Doctor, I was asked to collect urine which was just a few seconds. When I came back, she asked me to wait for another half an hour so that she can consult me again. Very pathetic and shameful especially that she knows I was waiting with a baby of 6 months ! 3 hours for a consultation !!!!

My daughter needs a scan and I want a female radiologist attend to her. I have been told that for a female radiologist I need to travel all the way to But Dubai. I think you need to have an arrangement for a female radiologist coming in atleast once a week for all the female patients. I am looking at other medical centres around this area with the facility that I need.

The lab personnel made me do an investigation tje doctor never ordered. When i informed the doctor's assistant. . She simply said " ohh thats bad.. the staff are new.. leave it"!!
Had a very good impression about aster as i have worked in one of their branches myself.

I think you need to extend your clinic. Its very small area and lot of peoples movement is there. As a result your customer service is degrading day by day. Its must that you need to broaden your clinic space. And the pharmacy service is worst. No place to sit just wait n see for an hour. Finally ur turn will come after an hour of standing. When you are sick n cant stand properly imaging how can u feel?
