i have been there at al zahra on thursday 26-04-2018 for an eye injection (eylea) i had it from DR.nazimul hussain an indian doctor quite experienced person his assistant Mr.ibrahim was so nice to me and explained every thing in details related with my case and i was so scarred after meeting him i was completely satisfied.
only issue with the hospital is its quite expensive,i was been charged 8000+ for a single session.

The hospital is clean and have good doctors and nurses. But the experience at pharmacy department was not good. Pharmacies in hospitals should be centered around the patient. Very chaotic and not at all organized.

This is purely and only for the mentioned operations depts of this hospital.
Reception areas on most floors operate too slow leading to delays in appointment times.
Insurance dept seldom answers calls. Facilities are good with modern equipment but neither doctors nor patients really get any benefit of them thanks to lack of insurance cover on certain hospitals or treatments.

old hospital from Sharjah recently taken over by NMC group. Sadly downhill after that. Avoid delivery here as v expensive . Better choose other places for delivery if your health matters

Yes, you have to wait and the services are expensive. But it's really worth it! The nursing staff's outstanding performance on delivering the care I expected and the facilities needed for me to recuperate and get back to my feet are really my money's worth. Thank you Al Zahra! 😎

This is the best hospital in UAE, I was admitted in surgical ward for my surgery. I felt very safe and comfortable and in capable hands. I cannot say enough about my doctor's, nurses and all other staff -just everyone was so good to me and my family. I received excellent care before, during and after surgery, especially surgical ward nurses are amazing, personable, caring, alert, warm, professionable and friendly.

Very Good Hospital with all the facilities. Good and healthy atmosphere. Staffs are very cooperative. Nursing at the best. Has 24 hours emergency service. It’s on the center of the city. But it’s not affordable for middle class peoples. Only the VIP and upper class can avail the service as its a first class service and facility provided by the hospital management.

Al Zahra - Sharjah was my preferred hospital and will always be my first choice hospital due to ultimate care they give to the patients especially with an organized & excellent nursing team. So Zahra is one of the oldest and most recognized hospitals in Sharjah. With probably the best facilities in private hospitals in Sharjah. With many of the most qualified doctors in the city practicing from the hospital the only reason I give the hospital four stars is that some doctors simply do not give patients the proper attention and time span. Something I believe should be addressed by the management otherwise it is definitely recommended for anyone who can afford the care in sharjah

So far one of the most organized hospitals I experienced this year. Dr. Herman is one of the best gynecologist in UAE, I am pregnant and I drive all the way from Dubai Marina to Sharjah just to for him to check up my baby and it worth it. The midwife, the insurance desk are very organized and caring, I really love this hospital

had a great inpatient experience with Al Zahra hospital, Sharjah, have done an operation by Dr. Khalil Sammour , the moment I have entered I have noticed the high efficiency and care from the stuff, nurses were amazing, the room was very comfortable and fully equipped, and the hands of the professional Dr. Sammour have healed me after "Allah"from a 14 years suffering health issue, thank you Al Zahra and a million thank you to the great doctor and humble person Dr. Khalil Sammour

Really nice hospital, staff is very professional. Doctors actually take time to explain you why this medicine, how to manage condition etc. Parking facility available for patients, pharmacy is well equipped. Just avoid going here on weekends as it will take the entire day.

The worst hospital ever!
Appointments are so messed up
They don't message u also on cancellation.. they call u and if u did not answer, you're screwed
The doctor advised for a shot to relieve the severe pain .. but didn't give us the shot immediately!
You have to go down to the pharmacy and get it .. then go to a totally different floor to take the shot.

Oh .. u have to wait for 2 hours at least in the pharmacy to get the medicine

And u r still feeling the pain!

I am never coming here again. The worst experience ever.

I am not sure why people gave it such high ratings.. i guess staff and doctors are part of that rating 😁

Not a very good hospital.
Staff is bit arrogant, systems are old type, for example lab reports are not available online? And there is one counter from where you can have reports printed…
Why would someone go next day again to collect reports if he need them? Reports should be available online.
They lied to us that insurance approval for a test will take 2 3 days and when I called insurance company, they said that test has been approved a day ago. And the hospital staff didn’t bother to inform us….

Zulekha hospital is much much better.

The best hospital in Sharjah and I am using their service since 1999 and they are the best. I usually visit pediatrics and she is the best" Dr. Randa Bushnaq", she has treated my children from Asthma and I am following up with her till date. Many doctors are excellent in what they do, orthopedic, internal medicine, endocrinologist. Admission is also comfortable experience when you are sick and nurses are very nice. Only the discharge process takes more than 3 hours sometimes.

I had my both arms fractured last year. They made me wait for a very long time. The emergency doctor was too rude and she was sick herself spreading germs while coughing. Then the next day I was taken to the surgeon. For first three weeks I was in a cast. They removed my cast after 3 weeks without taking any X ray and called me after a week. This time I was given an X ray and I showed zero healing. I had radial neck fractures in my both arms. The doctor said that they'll wait for another two weeks or otherwise they'll perform a surgery and remove my both radial heads from arms. Worst doctors with worst service. Only money making.

The worst hospital I have been in UAE so far. Rude nurses and stuff with ZERO communication skills. They charge you for things that should be complementary: registration fees? come on! anything you ask for is chargeable. It is clear and obvious that the stuff don't want to do his/her work, lazy, diluted, or whateverOutdated materials and hospital is not clean to be a place where patients gets care. Even the doctor I saw there wasn't really knowledgeable, I swear I know better than him, by just googling my symptoms. I will never go back there, and I don't recommend it AT ALL.

Customer Service at reception and cash counter is excellent. Quality of doctor varies based on individuals. I see a pediatric specialist, ENT specialist, a surgeon. All of them are excellent but I once visited an Internal Medicine doctor who was worst. My wife got a surgery in the hospital and the whole process including hospital stay went well. However, the experience in an emergency situation when I went with one of my friend was very bad. We reached the hospital at 8 pm and actual treatment started at 10 am which is 14 hours late because relevant doctor was not available.
My major complain is about the insurance department. Seems there is no control or monitoring on this department. They never respond to the calls. Even I complained it through their site but seems nothing changed.
