The spa itself was beautiful, and the masseuse gave us each the massage at just the right pressure. They have a lot of different services and the fresh juice was delicious. However, they do have limited size equipment, so not ideal for some folks. And they could use a more effective entry/exit system. When I'm completely relaxed, I don't want to struggle for ten minutes to exit the gate!

I have been to Woodlands Spa twice and it has always been special. Great location which is even better to experience in person. Quiet and surrounded by nature, calming sounds of waterfalls and birds, private treatment rooms which have doors that open out to the stream trickling past, friendly and professional staff and massages and treatments that take you on a journey out of this world. Their packages are geat value for money and even on a busy day, you get to enjoy the hydrotherapy room without having to share it with strangers. The treatments are a very sensual experience filled with amazing scents and unique techniques that makes the experience so special. The facial was my absolute favorite!

Beautiful spa which also runs workshops. Food was delicious and the staff are an absolute delight. I was there for a workshop and stayed over and was very well looked after. Great coffee.

I was afraid that coming here in winter would have me lose out on the scenery, but wow, was I wrong! What an amazing spa. Highlight is definitely having the massage rooms right by the river - so soothing. I got one of the most amazing hot stone massages! Will definitely come back for that.

The food, however, could be improved.

    Besides that: AMAZING!

Just 20 minutes from the west of Johannesburg. Surrounded by nature with a river running through it. A range of spa treatments are offered here, and it has a doctor on site. There's also a coffee house with amazing views of the property.

Lovely setting with treatment rooms overlooking the river. Anel, on reception was lovely and helpful. Our treatments were relaxing with nice products. Barry who did reflexology is a lovely caring soul. However the experience was dampened by the owner who is cold and seemed totally uninterested in her clients and created a negative vibe. She was more interested in smoking on the lovely deck area. I am a smoker and feel there should be designated smoking areas away from the common seating area. The management were sitting around with laptops. Great potential but will not return given the frostiness of management.

If you're looking to be pampered in a beautiful tranquil environment this is the place for you. I spent the afternoon here with my husband for a Couple's Connect package and it was well worth it. The room was asolutely beautiful with a spa bath overlooking the river framed by wall to ceiling windows. The therapists were excellent and nothing says relaxion like the soothing sounds of water in the background.

The food options are limited but sufficient and tasty. We would have liked to enjoy lunch on the balcony of our room but the furniture was old an broken totally opposite of all the other facilities, so we had it on the main deck instead. That is my only complaint.

We were 14 excited ladies celebrating a bride-to-be. We had a relaxing time with very good service from the therapists. The hydro pools were nice, however nothing was ready for us when we arrived. Steam room wasn't ready, it was only switched on when we were there so we had to wait. There were no towels, we asked and the towels came in batches. We gave our order in for lunch as soon as we arrived however lunch was still late. The back massage was excellent as well as the foot scrub and massage.

I recently visited woodlands spa. I was greeted by the friendly staff and immediately put and ease and felt comfortable with my therapist. The treatments were amazing and the relaxed atmosphere and peaceful surroundings are stunning. All the staff gave their full attention and did not clock watch, their focus was me and not the 'time' of my treatment. Absolutely stunning!

I recently spent the afternoon at Woodlands Spa. Now if you know me well, you will know that I don't like my personal space invaded. If I hug you or hug and kiss you by way of greeting, that also means i would most likely take a bullet for you. I have never been a fan of somebody touching me that I am not comfortable with.

The total experience was fantastic, the ambiance of the spa, setting the mood for relaxation, the staff were very professional at all times making you feel not only welcome but relaxed and at ease.

We sampled various parts of the establishment, the steam room and the hydro pools, relaxation immediately set in and it felt like you were far far away from the hustle and bustle.

On to the massage, which normally i would not really be to keen on. Pertunia introduced herself to me and in a weird way, the tone of her voice and her demeanor made you feel comfortable, a range of questions were asked to establish what i expected and required. The massage was fantastic, Pertunia managing to not only hit all the right spots, but also inducing sleep, I woke up with that, where am I feeling.

I want to leave some detail out, because if you are reading this, I believe you should go and experience it. I don't have many spa experiences but i can guarantee that this experience would be hard to top.

I was truly blown away. The spa is clean and well kept, and unless you are on some fault finding mission instead of relaxation there are no faults.
