  If anyone wants to experience an amazing volunteering time in South Africa then I can highly recommend the Vervet Monkey Foundation. It's a wonderful place, in the middle of nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You are surrounded by vervet monkeys, free living ones and the ones that are living in huge enclosures. The opportunity you get to work with the monkeys, in a big variety of tasks, is very rewarding. I've spent quite some time at the foundation, from 3 weeks to almost 3 years, and if I only could I would go back! I sure can say.. GO FOR IT!

  Its an amazing place, living surrounded by vervet monkeys, away from the city and town, beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to experience working with beautiful monkeys. The sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates monkeys that would otherwise not survive, to see an orphan baby adopted by a troop mum and be raised in a troop not by people is wonderful. It is a low cost volunteering opportunity for all, if you want to support them from your home you can donate and help their work. I spent a year there and had the opportunity to see these babies introduced into troops. I would highly recommend their volunteer program.

  Wonderful place where you can volunteer to help the Vervet monkeys.
  I've been there 2 months, amazing people with very big hearts for animals !
  This is something you will never forget !!
