Poorly run. Animal enclosures are too small and kept untidyly. It is clear that not much funds made in this place is actually going to the well being of the animals. I would not support this place.

Disgusting - do not visit. This place is heartbreaking and backward in it's attitudes towards beautiful wildlife. From the solitary vervet monkey in a tiny enclosure to the miserable looking lions and the birds in small cages, unable to fly. We left as soon as we arrived. The term "sanctuary" is hugely misleading. This place is a zoo with awful welfare standards.

Great place for a weekend. Staff is very friendly and nice. Rooms are small but self catering. They have pools and many other activities throughout the day. Bbq pits available to grill. Amazing birds. What I love the best is you can hear lions roaring directly outside your window throughout the night. Place overall not too fancy but still worth to see.

Thank you Mbidi personnel for the good snake show and knowledge you share. Thank you for the care you take of the animals and the gidded tour. We did enjoy the day with you. You food in the restaurant was a pleasure too.
