Extremely satisfied Clean grounds. Swimming pools are clean. Slides works well and are clean. Nice restaurant and bar area. Will definitely be going there very soon

So disappointed!!!!!!
I emailed the Bookings office in April 2019 to requested a quote for April 2020. And their response was that I can only book from 1 October 2019. I sent in my request on 2 October and they told me it is they are fully booked. My question is why do some people get the opportunity to book early but I don't? That is really bad!!!response / report this review -

Very neat camping sites love it. Hot water problem every day and ablution not up to standard. This is my feeling for the rates we paid.

Very nice except for the info that is displayed on the internet. Is says you must take all your own bedding & cutlery. When we arrived I was surprised to see that we could have left all the cooking and cutlery at home the chalets was equipped with that. You can take a bucket to wash your floor with. There is fans in the ceiling but if you have a fan at home take it along the chalets was very hot. There is plenty and very good ablution is blocks. There is wheelchair friendly access at most of the park facilities.
There is plenty Tube rides, and warm water as well as cold water swimming pools. We even saw some buck and ponies.response / report this review -

Camping area are beautiful. And Serengeti has got amazing pools and entertainment.
The ablutions are absolutely in need of an upgrade. They are disgusting and in a bad condition. There should be fotos posted that people can see what the bathrooms look like.
Especially where you are going to take your children to shower or bath. To pay R600 a day and have to use bathrooms in bad conditions is absolutely a disgrace. One of the ablutions blocks for men has one shower. Serengeti in peak season I'm sure you can have more people employed to keep bathrooms clean. You may have ramps in bathrooms for disabled but where are rails to hold on to, and place to keep clothing from getting wet. The plastic flooring in bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and a place where germs breed. One of the ladies said they can't take out the plastic in showers to clean. Be warned when you shower you will be standing in dirty water while you shower even if you have slops on.
So I would encourage Serengeti to post foto of bathrooms conditions.response / report this review -

The only positive is the pool area. Unfortunately for campers the ablutions need a serious upgrade and a good clean. They don't supply toilet paper. And sadly the staff are also unfriendly and unhelpful. Serengeti won't be seeing us again.

Ablutions had no toilet paper or hand soap, some of the showers have no doors and the ablutions was poorly maintained and not cleaned ones for the weekend. At the restaurant we were told that we have to be patient because they were busy and some of the gests were told that they could not be helped, after an hours wait I was informed that they have not yet started with my order, so I also left. The owner goes on the microphone every day and warns the gests that if you camp on the grass that there will be consequences.

I rate this place 5 🌟 campside is awesome, friendly people, helpful, bathrooms clean, swimming area, spotless the pizza is the best. Only negative is: no special prices for pensioners.

Nice family place. Swimming pools are close to the camp site however not all that clean. Staff are rude and unfriendly. Almost as if they are doing you a big favour. They are quite expensive so be sure to take everything with you. Swimming pools were cold.

Serengati Caravan Park is a great place for camping, activities and school trips The swimming pools are great and well managed. I would recommend it.

Very pleasant beautiful surroundings nice pool and great super tubes. Accommodation comfortable and practical ablution blocks clean and good restaurant and shop on site. I will go there again.

It's ok Only the staff needs proper training, the lady at the reception is always rude since she started working there years ago.. And still no one did something on how she treats people. The wooden stairs by the big slippy slide needs to be maintained a child could get hurt there. The top part is very slippery.. The bathrooms and camp areas are very neat and clean. A pity the animals are all gone..

What a pleasure! We didn't even have to set up ourselves! The expert staff took about 15 minutes to pitch the rally and level our caravan.
Well kept lawn on stand. Truly amazing communal areas, it feels like a resort with private camping facilities. Shop provides everything you need including ice, wood and other day to day necessities. Everything is reasonably priced.
We didn't stay in a chalet but I'm sure they are superb judging by the upkeep and quality of rest of the venue
You can spend the whole day in the bar /restaurant / waterpark area, or catch some fish in the small dam, go to loskop or just braai comfortably in the campsite.
Tip: The small, kids friendly pool under the yellow net is warmer than the indoor pool (and closer to the cocktail bar).response / report this review -

The place is well looked after, clean and friendly staff. They offer free pap and sauce on Saturday, had 2 live shows for free. The restaurant offers a variety of food, the tea room is also great for a cuppa

Staff unfriendly and sour. Pools are not clean. Windows need some curtains and the room a mirror. The food at the restaurant is real good value for money and the 2 waiters are the only friendly staff around. the Staff's unfriendliness really is a real downer

Awesome place, do need some maintenance though. Some of the units leaves a cheap taste in the mouth ea unfinished work or repairs.
