They deserve more than five stars. We went to a wedding nearby and booked accommodation at Valley of the Rainbow. Whilst at the wedding venue, rain started to pour down, making the roads inaccessible for normal sedans/hatchbacks. We attempted to take the gravel road up to Valley of the Rainbow, but our car was unfit. We returned to the wedding venue, where they contacted Valley of the Rainbow to come and fetch us with a high clearance vehicle, which they did without any hesitation (this was about 00:30 the morning). The hospitality is amazing, and extremely friendly and witty staff. Will definitely visit again, and will recommend.

Loved every moment of it!! The road from Dullstrooms side BIG NO NO, from Stofberg, is much much much better! I will go back and stay in the tented chalet again! The view was amazing and the reception made us feel right at home! See you soon guys

Wat 'n onvergeetlike naweek by 'n ongelooflike plek!!!! Van verblyf, tot 5 ster etes tot fly fishing en lekker saam kuier!!! Dit was ons 10 jaar huweliksherdenking en Shaun en Nicole het uit hul pad uit gegaan om die hele naweek vir ons so spesiaal te maak!!! Jul gasvryheid laat mens onmiddelik tuis en welkom voel. Die estate is beautiful en mens kan sommer sien dit word met soveel oorgawe instand gehou! Ons kan nie wag om weer te kom kuier nie!! Amazing plek, amazing mense!! Well done Shaun en Nicole!!! We spent a fantastic weekend at Valley of the Rainbow. Service very good! Big rooms. Lovely and tranquil atmosphere! Food so tastefully presented! Gardens an absolute pleasure to wonder! Scenery out of this world! Walk to waterfall was an adventure! View on Dams and rest of gardens and the distance was one enormous pleasure. We will definitely visit again!

An Amazing Experience!! It has been almost 3 years since we've been there on Honeymoon and my wife just wants to go back. The room are impeccable, the food of the highest quality with the best service that I've experienced in a very very long time. All of this packaged together and nestled in the flawless and serene surroundings that is Mpumalanga.

The road from Middelburg was OK, gravel road quality OK from Stofberg side. From Dullstroom side the road is terrible. Rooms are HUGE!!! 6 course dinners were very tasty, and the chef did a great job! Staff was excellent. The surrounding areas are quiet making this place a good choice if you want to get away from it all. No mobile reception so if you cannot live without your phone, try this place out. Very relaxed weekend away at Valley of the Rainbow and we will be planning to return!
