  We had a lovely stay at the Highlander. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They even gave us an extra room for the same price. The rooms were clean and spacious.I will definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

  Very nice definitely not 5 star like website says no welcome drinks on arrival and bathroom on suites need to be updated.

  This is such a beautiful place with nice facilities, but the service is unfortunately lacking. Tried to order Irish coffee - didn't know what it is. Tried to order a liqueurs at the bar - didn't have glasses to serve it in. Breakfast not great - Mince and egg on toast (R85) - untoasted bread and a little bit of tasteless mince!😈😈

  Stayed there for one night. Service is good, staff are friendly. There is a swimming pool. Booked a single room and I slept in the loft which was very comfortable. Very limited entertainment on TV and there was no wifi. You could however use a phone(1 allocated to each room) to make calls and access the internet(I used bluetooth tethering instead of a wifi hotspot). Breakfast was great, normal buffet consisting of cereals etc and then a choice of other normal breakfast(eggs, bacon etc). Dining area is very decorative and appealing. Hotel was good. Nothing much to distinctly make it better than an average hotel. No problems what so ever, only reason for 3.5 star is because that is the level I believe the hotel is on.

  We stayed at The Highlander this past weekend. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The manager Sharon was there to greet us each time we returned from an outing.
  Altogether a charming hotel, modern, clean, beautifully appointed.Loved the fire place
  in the room. Very central.Loved our stay.
  
  Highly recommend !!
