Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room was neat and well equipped with a few self catering amenities. Breakfast selection was decent.

Great place with gym and indoor pool. Restaurant as well as a bar. Great service. Restaurant food can do with improvements. Coffee bar no longer exists. No longer a spa and sauna in the building. Lovely conference centre. Beautiful entrance. Close to malls and other shops. Convenient.

The AHA Urban Park is nice hide away in Umhlanga Ridge, the rooms are more standard than one would expect I have seen some hotels in this area with much larger rooms. All things being said if you on business then this is perfect for you. I would have appreciated some extra amenities, the staff are amazing very help, front desk gets 5 stars from me.

I had mouldy bed sheets which they didn't seem to even care about when I spoke to them. The spa has closed down but they don't tell you on the website. The reception didn't see my booking was for two people even though there was clearly two of us standing there. We had to ask for someone to help us with our baggage. Not a great experience I'm afraid.

Great self catering unit. Well kept and well serviced. They also provide shuttle within a 5 km radius, which you can use to get to Gateway Shopping Mall easily. I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is average. There is no TV in the bedroom, only in the lounge area of the room.
There is no information sticker on the phone to indicate what number to dial if you need help. I had to use my phone to call reception.
TV's in rooms are left on, I had to call reception to come and switch-off the TV in the unoccupied room next to mine as I couldn't sleep, volume was loud.
Dinner was nice though!

Room walls are way too thin and you can literally hear every movement from the next room from eating to their conversationsseems like family rooms were converted to individual rooms which is not nice because u basically sharing a room and are seperated by just a door. im staying on the second floor and its the most frustrating experience with all the noise from neighbours either side. Just doesn't feel right.

Staff need to be trained. Great rms. Gym not maintained well. Lift out of order for a long time. Lovely indoor pool. Not heated though.

Went there on business and had a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff and very nice food (breakfast in the mornings). Rooms were neat and clean, and the rooms have a microwave and stove in the kitchen which works well should you be on a budget. They offer free Wifi, however they only give you 100MB per day. Very close to the Gateway Mall, situated right across the Porsche dealership. They have a Spa and gym facilities on the premises as well as their own restaurant.

Arrived 21h20. Told reception I want to eat something. But I will call from the room. Called 21h35. Sorry the kitchen in closed. No one told me its closing. Not lets try and make a plan. Sorry its closed. Bad service. Alivator not working. Not a good first impression.

Nice place. Friendly service (can be a bit slow though). Nice pool - not heated, so gives you a nice shock chill sometimes. The lifts were always breaking down and then the other lift would be locked and require a key to entry which only residents had. Drove me nuts. Excellent food.

We were allocated a room without ambient light. We weren't even given the option to book a room that faced outwards. The implication was that our room was depressing since the lighting was only comfortable with the lights on. Our queen sized bed was two beds (of unequal heights) pushed together. It was so uncomfortable to sleep in; we ended up sharing one of the single beds for the entire trip. The lifts are always occupied and its much quicker to just take the stairs. The owner witnessed many of our complaints about the room, when our room key didn't work and our complaints about the lift. He seemed completely unfazed. I would not recommend this hotel.
