I generally do not rate products or experiences as five stars. This particular rating, in my opinion has been justifiably earned. The Travelling Vinyard (Dion in particular), certainly deserves such an accolade. He simply loves what he does, he is incredibly knowledgeable across the entire region. He tends to steer clear of the commercial "run of the mill", overcrowded farms but rather introduces you to the best kept secrets, in terms of wine farming in the glorious Western Cape. Without a doubt, wine and is his passion, he visibly enjoys all elements of wine tasting without being pretentious or judgmental. A wine tour with Dion will be one of your best experiences of the beautiful Cape.

Dion is a magician. We had an amazing tour, he showed us all the best wines and restaurants and we even managed to find time to visit a few off the beaten track hidden gems. Absolutely worth every penny spent with him.
