  We did a three-day river rafting adventure over the new-year period of 2022-2023. The experience was fantastic, but there were some logistical issues that detracted from the experiences somewhat.
  
  Pros:
  * Fantastic scenery, untouched stretch of nature through the Richtersveld
  * Without these issues, I think it is a fairly-priced, amazing experience
  
  Cons:
  * Although guides were definitely competent, they lacked clear communication, and questions had to be asked to get information regarding start times, how long rest times are, etc, rather than communicating pro-actively
  * Guides had no means of communication with base camp, or each other. This could have helped reassembled our group when we got split up, causing uncertainty and confusion.
  * Our camp section had no power, and despite multiple attempts to communicate the issue with staff, we eventually had to abandon use of our electric fridge, and meant we had to buy ice (which was sold out before we could get any). I think this was due to demand being high, but no communication as to what the actual cause was
  * Price gouging during new years (the drinks that I bought was raised ~30% after we returned from our trip, with no clear communication or price list).
  * Contrasting guidance on packing documentation and on-site preparations: Zip-loc bags are suggested for water-proofing on documents, but they advise against it on-site.
  * Arrangements to leave early in the morning was not met (Despite the owner begrudgingly assuring I'm able to leave at 4AM) : I had to look up guide sleeping quarters to find someone who was able to assist me, which delayed me by 45 minutes.
  
  Mitigating circumstances:
  * New years periods are always busy, so you might have a better experience elsewhere in the year

  Shocking experience. Camp was dirty, under staffed. We all got bitten by bed bugs. Food below average. Guides were sweet but ill prepared for the river. First aid kit pathetic, no patches for the boats, we did not feel in that we were in safe hands.
  
  Only redeeming aspect was the beautiful location something Bundi couldn't mess up.

  Fantastic trip! Our guides, Patrick and Dennis, were amazing and the Swarts family were very welcoming. We did a 5 day trip in total with 3 days on the Orange River and we highly recommend it. The food was delicious and at every stop the guides made an effort to keep us entertained- from taking us on hikes to pointing out bird species etc.

  Our 3 day trip on the Oranje river was fantastic! Patrick, our guide, know the river very well and was a super host. Base Camp staff, Johan & co, are friendly and very helpful. Will definitely recommend and return.

  Amazing experience rafting the Orange River. Knowledgeable guides and amazing food don't know how they do it! Beautiful scenery with a star-loaded night sky. Bucket list ticked!

  We organised a camping Trip with Bundi adventures over New year's,what a wonderful experience. Good good amazing Guides and so well organised. Would definitely recommend it.
