The staff are without a doubt are the greatest asset at The Glen. Helps that it is well located, well presented, and who doesn't love a split level pool. Do yourself a favour.

Great look and feel, very comfortable stay and a good location too. Lot's of good food a few minutes walk away.
Breakfast was good although for a 4 star joint it feels a bit weird being told "one hot breakfast only" which is an odd constraint in my opinion, more fitting for budget family hotels.

This is amazingly beautiful. Relaxed quiet and everything smells looks and feels beautiful. Would recommend this place to everytime. Staff follows process but treats you like an honored guest and always make sure you feel comfortable. Love it here

This hotel was truly lovely and the service was incredible! You could tell the staff really enjoyed working there and they had a very strong connection with their coworkers and there guests. We wish we would have been able to stay several more nights. Neills was amazing in taking care of us!

Heard of exceptional friendliness? Well the Glen Boutique staff exhibited a fine example of this during our 3 night stay there. They were always smiling, welcoming and prepared to go all out to attend to our needs, including willingness to move us to another room when we complained of noise in the morning. But because our room was so nice, spacious, and with a cosy terrace adjacent to the pool, we opted to stay. So they then ensured that the pool fountain (part of the noise) was only turned on a hour later than normal to allow us that extra time of rest! The facilities are well kept, and the decor displays the uniqueness of the hotel. Dinner was a little bit of a let down, and the staff did their best to remedy the situation on the night, but that was only a slight blemish on our stay. The breakfasts were tasty with lots of options available to suit all tastes! Definitely will be going back to the Glen. On check in, once they found out it was our anniversary, they delayed us with glasses of champagne, whilst they quickly made a nice heart display in rose petals, wrote a card and placed a box of delicious Belgian chica in our room! Thanks to Phil, Neils, Mark, Ashley, Sabelo, Edmore, Kiss, Takunda, and all the other staff (whose names I sadly cannot remember)..you made our anniversary very special indeed.

A beautifully presented hotel with great style and charm. The rooms and public areas are elegant and nothing is to much trouble for the staff. Smiles are sincere. The establishment gives much larger hotels a serious run for money. Highly recommended.

An absolutely delightful hotel. Friendly and extremely accommodating staff (they made it possible for me to shift my stay by one night at the last minute with no issues)--they welcomed me upon check-in with champagne and a personal tour of the hotel grounds. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious with all the amenities I could have wanted, including a balcony and computer for getting work done in the room. The jacuzzi was a nice touch, and I even booked a massage (which was one of the best I've ever had) at the spa. Breakfast was spectacular with a full buffet and hot made-to-order items as well. No complaints at all--I only hope that I can return someday!

I wish I could give them a sixth star! They are just the best out of the hotels in Cape Town at their price point. They are super friendly, the rooms are great, and the food is delicious. I wish I spent my whole time in Cape Town here.

Just wonderful! The best staff, how much care of the host, how much affection, how much dedication, note 20 for the service. As for the facilities, our room was perfect, the bed was just perfect, it had a balcony to have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Would go back a thousand times and would recommend to all who want to have a comfortable and quiet stay. Five stars for this hotel!

Absolutely amazing hotel- starting with the attention to detail,the care for the guests (we got upgraded as we had our honeymoon,my husband got a birthday cake and the whole stsff sang for him,the owner meets personally the guests and gives you tips about where to go),the stunning brekfast that competes with 5 star restaurants, we felt really pampered during our whole stay! The hotel also offers car rentals of great cars with great proces, we had mini cooper cabrio and had a great time driving through the scenary views around Cape Town

The best place to spent holidays, best service ever, our bags were delay and they help to contact the airline, we did not have to do anything, the staff is very kind, polite, happy. The place is beautiful, very cozy, very clean.They are really the best. The location and decor is excellent. The breakfast is delicious, huge selection of everything. We went there for our honeymoon, we got the elephant massage it was great too!!

Amazing welcome from all the staff, we arrived on our honeymoon to a bottle of bubbly! No end to the suggestions and activities they can organise, drinks served poolside, and always with a smile - very attentive and helpful at all times. Car hire packages available for a very good price. Wonderful spa, we really enjoyed our massages. Beautiful decor and atmosphere, very relaxing and perfect for a romantic getaway! We'll be back for sure.
