This restaurant is North of Joburg's best kept secret. The food is literally best of the spiciest. It is authentic sub-continental and really tasty. I enjoy the fact that I can bring my own wine. The vibe is sincere and Asian - lively with apt music and decor. The staff are real and always happy to see us. The consistently great service and fare are remarkable.

No liquor sold due to their religion. Means you can take a bottle of your own wine, and save money! Outstanding food!

Excellent authentic Indian food. The service is good considering a little language barrier. One of the few Indian restaurants that is very clean inside and has a nice vibe. I would be careful of ordering anything with the hot option, out of all the Indian restaurants I've been in Johannesburg their food is by far the hottest if you order it that way!

Exelent food , friendly service very impressed.i never had so tasty food like curry palace in joburg.its my faviourt restaurant for indian food in randburg.we always enjoy our food at curry palace.must try you will never be disapointed at this place.

Excellent quality of food and great service. Try the Tandoori Chicken, traditional Indian naan, Roghan Ghost (lamb curry) and dhall makini.

I thought the food was excellent. Prices were good and the service I found very good. Your waiter is aware of you at all times without being in your face. The naan bread was the best I've had. Good choice for a good and intimate dinner.

I found this place by its reviews and it lives up. Great curry in Joburg and my go to spot for a little spice in my meal.
*Update, its been a while and finally returned here this week and ordered a few items, I was shocked to receive an item that was off. When I opened the bag the scent was noticeable and surprised that they would provide a paying customer a dish that was off. Even if the chef tried to pass it off the folks at the front should've noticed odd scent. Quality control appears to be slipping so be alert if you go.response / report this review -

An old favourite of mine. Don't expect fancy decor and cutlery but warm friendly welcome, genuine Indian food to enjoy - soon you will be returning and be greeted by name.
