This place is well known and can be very busy on weekend nights. Thankfully, the bar and restaurant are well separated, meaning that each can function well without interference. Parking is sometimes off-site at busy times.
The buffet is a hit and miss, but mostly it is very good.
The winner of Carver's is undoubtedly the atmosphere, created by the building and the ambience.

Bit of an institution. Tucked away and very cozy looking, this bar is busy most evenings. Casual pub which allows smoking indoors so be warned. There is outdoor seating for those seeking fresh air. If you’re in search of live sports then this bar is great as there are multiple TVs in the bar area.

Relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Good value for money, and friendly service. Only criticism is about the Stella Draft that now days seems to be permanently out of stock.

Bar is Cozy and has a great atmosphere. Serves a limited selection of Craft beer. The restuarant is simply amazing, serving quality food and even doing a really great buffet.

If you like good wholesome family type food in an eat from a carvery type fashion, then this is the place for you. An amazing pub attached with a good beer selection. Service was good and the venue is a nice old style house that suits the atmosphere. Food was varied and tasty.

Needs work I say Chef cooked a great piece of steak but was missing veg on the plate. Either get your wording right on your menu or close the restaurant section. Your pub seems to be all that works correctly. Not happy, great waiter at least. He ran his legs off all night
