The Spa is fantastic! Best massage ever! Tranquil placetea and massage or massage and picnic after! I highly recommend this tranquil place to all! I felt like spending the whole day at the Spa!

A beautifully central vineyard hotel. The Steenberg estate is in the southern suburbs of Cape Town putting it in easy striking distance of most of the major attractions in the region. We loved the onsite restaurants, especially relaxing in the evening outside Catharine’s and looking for satellites. They produce a good variety of wines, and I can especially recommend the Magna Carta and MCCs. Although we didn’t have time for golf, we managed to get in a few walks and runs around the trails in the vineyard. The view from the top is well worth the hike up the hill. The pool area is a perfect place to relax and soak up some rays and pool itself is a good length for swimming laps.
Finally, the staff deserves an extra special mention as they were all friendly and really looked after us. A very bespoke experience.response / report this review -

Historical, beautiful and classy are just some of the first words that come to mind when discussing Steenberg Hotel and Spa.
The staff is friendly and very accommodating, as we found out while staying here for our wedding, which was being hosted on the same grounds at the Catharina's Restaurant. Jackie Quail, the event coordinator, bent over backwards to accommodate our every whim, and did so as if it was absolutely no effort at all!

The rooms ooze class and elegance, and are spacious and luxurious. This is the definition of decadence. You know you've arrived.
The perfect accompaniment to your indulgence, is the local bubbly produced on the grounds at the vineyard.
