  Stone Hill has become our yearly retread for our family and our dogs. Fenced little cottages, good walks, a river, and plenty of space to enjoy some relax outside of Johannesburg. The service has always been excellent and the quality of the cottages very high. We went 7 times so far and we had an excellent time at every single occasion. Highly recommended if your have dogs that wouldn't be welcome in other "pet friendly" placed

  We enjoyed our cottage and the views. Close to Pretoria and Johannesburg for an great weekend breakaway. The cottages are well equipped. A very nice place where our fur kids are welcome.

  Stone Hill is great. Have visited many times, and love it more each time. So close to Jhb, yet right out in the country, with the beauty of the veld, and sunsets that are spectacular. The cottages are very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. Caroline and Mark are wonderful hosts. Perfect for walking, swimming, reading, chilling.

  This is the place to go for a country getaway. Quiet and peaceful with good views and lovely walks and very comfortable well equipped accommodation. Caroline and Mark are excellent hosts. A special place. Highly recommended.

  We had the most wonderful time at Stone Hill. Our cottage was cosy and clean and 100% equipped with everything you can possibly need. We were amazed at the large size of the garden and verandah that comes with the cottage, our dog was in heaven! We spent our days walking the lovely trails and swimming (and our dog simply loved the doggie pools and the river walk!). The owners Mark and Caroline are such lovely and warm hosts and they made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived. We will most definitely be back.

  Stunning cottage with everything one needs for a stay away from home. Best thing: pet friendly! Beautiful views. Enclosed garden for ones dog to stay safely. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds with electric blankets for winter and a fan for summer. Truly a magical experience. Wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you Caroline and Mark for being superb hosts!   Beautiful wooden cottages. Dog friendly with outdoor showers for pets. One of the few truly environment friendly places with separate .dustbins for plastic, glass etc. The view is wonderful. The owners are very friendly . Booking is essential over weekends.
