So I took my car here in 2015, I thought I had a broken CV. It was the engine mount. But instead of telling me they replaced my (brand new cv) on my Alfa Romeo, and billed me for it. R1200. I asked for the used CV back as it was only 3 months old. They gave me it. I let it go. Today; I go to use the spare CV, only to be told that it was broken golf CV instead of my brand new Alfa one! They stole my parts.

The staff are very good to me and I always take my car there. They also take me home and fetch me when the car is fixed.

Would not recommend. They don't fit the parts you pay for. This place is very dodgy. We have seen the parts they have stolen. STAY AWAY! You will be swindled.

Speedfit should NOT be trusted. They claimed to replace my inner- and left CV, but never did so. They charged me R950 for labour for doing absolutely nothing. PLEASE do not support this corrupt company.

Actually 0 Stars.. On Saturday, 9 December my daughter took her car to replace the left and Inner CV's of her Jetta. She received a quote, accepted the quote and provided the spare parts as needed, and agreed. She received her car back late Saturday afternoon and discovered that the car still had the same problem. On Monday she took her car to VW for a second opinion, only to find that the Inner CV was never replaced.
She was charged as if they replaced the Inner CV which she supplied to them. This part was however kept by Speedfit and never replaced as per agreement.
On her return to Speedfit this morning they at first denied this, but when she provided pictures as proof they admitted that they never replaced the inner CV. Yes they agreed to pay back part of the money charged and also returned the product. BUT
Another shock later today was when the company now fixing the car, informed her that the left CV was also not replaced. Again my daughter had to go back to Speedfit, again and as earlier today she had to drag the truth out of the owner.
How does one trust this business with your car, your safety and your life? Speedfit Stellenbosch openly lied to her and tried to mislead, actually steel from her while she's put her trust in them.
I would not recommend anybody to make use of Speedfit & exhaust services Stellenbosch as they cannot be trusted with services provided to the public. Do not provide spare parts, as it will be kept (stolen) and not replaced. The safety of your car and the caretaking and service delivery of service providers are of utmost importance. Please think twice before using Speedfit Stellenbosch.

Would not recommend to anyone. Seemed like it would be reasonably charged, but was not at all. Tried to charge me a few hundred rand just for replacing an plug in and plug out switch and they added 60% of the price of the part to it. Service was delayed, did not get back to me when they said they would. Ordered wrong parts in spite of having taken photos and physically taking out the part twice. This was for a citi golf, if the can't fix a citi golf I won't trust them with ANYTHING.
