Calm and beautiful guest house in a quiet town. Great ribs. Lovely walks in the mist and surrounds.
I didn't stay at the lodge, I just ordered a meal. The food was good and very reasonable and the lodge itself looks very quaint and pretty.
Absolutely MYSTICAL! So pretty! Of everything I LOVE the mist and the horses the most! Its so quite and peaceful I could stay forever. Well done for keeping the place in such beautiful and pristine condition. I love the way you have decorated the rooms and the venues, I will definitely be back! Thank you!
Fantastic holiday! Great location, restaurants & facilities! Wild Horses, walking trails, waterfalls, etc.Trout Fishing, horse-riding, malls, etc. all close by. Thanks to all at Silver Mist for great hospitality and great service!
The dinner was very good however it is definitely not a peaceful and tranquil place to stay the night. There were other people who were so loud inside and outside the inn that we struggled to sleep. No respect for others. Management should control situations like this and did nothing and actually knew the people who were so loud. Very dissapointed and will definitely not recommend or stay at Silver Mist ever again. We did not feel welcome. Money definitely not well spend.
Awsome
Stunning place. Great accommodation, function venue and restaurant. A must visit
Nice food and views, wild horses
Best place for a relaxing break.
Awesome breakaway from the city, nice little pub and the food is great. No fences, bring your dog. Great value for money.
Cosy atmosphere, good food and it's value for money!
We loved Kaapsehoop but our self catering unit had no hot water, I called reception who said they would look into it to no avail. Having a cold bath in 7 degree celcius weather is no fun and when I complained the response was "sorry, it happens sometimes we have ghosts in our pipes".. not comfortable.
Die Waenhuis restaurant is absolutely fabulous in every way! Delicious food, value for money, lovely staff 100% dog friendly.
The ambiance is something to experience, silver mist hanging in the air and wild horses trotting around. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is good but the service could improve a little. Basics like table salt and pepper are absent. Overall a good experience and that is why i always return.
Visiting Silver Mist was taking a step back in time, slowing down and enjoying good old-fashioned hospitality. The accommodation, food and attention to detail made it an unforgettable experience. The right of way actually belongs to the ducks. Amanda and her team makes you feel like family in your home away from home.
