Interesting menu and delicious waffels. The cool breeze on a hot summer's day make the location ideal after a hike to the waterfall or escarpment.

Nothing worth remembering except extremely slow service. TIP: If you set on having pancakes and tea, order your food, go for the hike, when you return your pancakes should be done.

I visit the very beautiful town of Kaapsehoop today. The horses were absolutely stunning, the houses and shops quintlynette decorate and the residents friendly. I often visited this vintage town but took my granddaughter for the first time to see the horses.
It was therefore a great disappointment and embarrassment when local man attached me verbally in front of Pan 'n Koek about my parking and how Gautengers are taking the place over the weekend. He was abusive and rude. According to him he wants no Gautenger in his town. This man (no gentleman) does obviously not realise without the Gautengersame there will be no dorpie!
My granddaughter was very upset and the experience spoiled for her.
