I would recommend this place to anyone as the staff is really friendly and helpful.
The lady Annemarie is very accomodating and makes you feel very welcome.

The place is clean and cozy with a homely feel. The food is really great. Breakfast was big and so amazing as i love food .
Id definately stay there again :)

What could be MORE special than sneaking away for your wedding anniversary? Well sneaking away to PROTEA RIDGE of course!!
IF I have ever truly and wholeheartedly felt and noticed a place worthy of a FIVE STAR rating..it will be PROTEA RIDGE!! We arrived (later than expected) and was met by a inviting, smouldering, wood fire just outside the door! On entering the perfectly heated rondawel; we were honoured to have a very nice bottle of Champagne waiting patiently for us, on ice. I am a big lady but the bed made me feel like a small, little princess, it is really, really big! The bed has beautiful brass embellishments at the head and foot end and the most divine feather light down, softly covering you! Great care was taken even when it gets to the bathroomwith not only a bath but a shower too - so you can pick and choose! The kitchen, with coffee, tea, milk and sugar and a full fridge to keep something cold on a hot day! This is truly a place that needs to be visited to fully appreciate the beauty I am trying to draw in the mind here!! Your lady WILL feel like THE single most important queen in your life..and we just spent the night! Time was not on our side as there is definitely so much more to this quiet retreat than what we had time for to experience!!
