The view and surrounding areas are definitely stunning. The lobby and dining area are also clean and well furnished. The rooms can, however, do with an upgrade. The furniture in the standard rooms is outdated and the TV signal is poor. Lastly the shower heads also need to be changed.

I love its location. The surroundings were calming. . It really didn't feel like a Protea Hotel. It would be ideal for a family weekend away. .I really didn't get time to explore it thoroughly but it is on my list of places to revisit. .

What an Amazing Experience! Best place to a Conference, the staff are so friendly and no request is too big for the staff. They are so accommodating and willing to please! best views, pool and rooms. Best value for money, a must see!!

Great atmosphere, spacious rooms with views to swimming pools, grounds are lush and green, well kept throughout, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was a disaster though, they need to step it up in that section. The bacon look like dried biltong, the salads were soggy and drenched in salad dressing, the deserts are very limiting.

Disgusted by management of the hotel.
It was our second time there but first time with my kids.
My daughter and myself were assaulted after we went complaining to reception about people have sex in the pool in front of guests. Women were swimming naked.
Both me and my daughter was traumatized and very upset.
We requested that the people get removed from the hotel but the manager Petra asked us that we should leave(she then gave back our money for our stay) and let me quote what she told us that "if European countries allow people having sex in public pools why cant she allow it at the hotel." A hotel that is meant to be not only for couples but families with children
We called the police twice but was told by the management the police will not come.
We humiliated and by disgusted by the whole event. I will definitely take this matter further as it is unacceptable to treated this way.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are a great size however I wish I had taken a book to read. I was unable to view the MNET channels clearly as lines running across the screen. The hotel were unable to resolve this during my stay. Dinner can be lengthy if you don't choose the buffet as I had a 30 minute wait. Overall a great hotel and huge pool to swim in.

Tea was never delivered on time on the conference days. This is despite the fact that we shared our schedule before hand. The patio at the Groove was dirty and not cleaned on day 2. One of the aircons in the venue is not working.

Facilities are in a great condition. Food served is of good quality. Safe parking and a big pool. The rooms are spacious and the cleaning service excellent. Curtains blacks out the light totally if you want to sleep at night. Warm water is almost immediately available when the tap is opened.

The place is beautiful, however we checked in at about 22:30, my husband heard a sound at the window and it turns out someone was trying to break into the room! It was a horrible feeling. He pretended that he was walking away and the person attempted to break in again. We went away and didn't end up spending the night. They need to up their security! It wasn't worth the risk!

We had an amazing time at the Hotel. The place is amazing, the rooms are clean, Im just disappointed that the staff are not too helpful, all had different answers to what we request, eg. Viewing deck, bike hire, gym. Food also a bit pricey but overall experience was good. Clean and secure parking.
