Lactalis Factory ANYMORE . THEY HAVE ADDED NEW INGREDIENTS , DIFFERENT COLOUR CHEESE AND EVEN MADE THE CHEESE TRIANGLES THINNER BY 3MM . ANOTHER COMPANY THAT SHOWS BUYERS THE MIDDLE FINGER . . WILL NEVER BUY THIS TASTELESS CHEMICAL FAKE CHEESE AGAIN

Have visited twice in the last couple of weeks. First time they had nothing - second time only the heavily processed cheeses and I really don’t find their prices brilliant at all - can find better special Btwn the local shops

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I drove 45 minutes to get here and had an absolutely dreadful experience. I was in a queue of approximately 10 people on Saturday 1 August. I arrived at 11:36. Google says they close at 12 but their sign says 11:45. The two security ladies shut the gate on us even though we were waiting in the queue well before closing time. And did so without tell us a thing! They just shut the gate! At the very least, they could have put up a sign or told us beforehand that we would not be allowed in instead of making us wait in a queue! A blatant disregard for any form of customer service. The service from the manager was equally appalling.

I am disgusted.

Don't expect anything fancy, this is not the place to go to buy unusual or super-aged cheeses, but always a good deal to be had on the standard range of factory cheese and dairy.

Were there before and had great value on their yogurts, but this time, I found their prices very similar to the shops. The cheese were more that what Checkers sold it for. But overall not bad going there. Just need to catch them on the right day

Pretty basic in its design. A room with shelves with products displayed, prices above. Specials printed on coloured paper and laminated.

Staff are friendly and quick to assist.

Small shop that stocks steristumpies, melrose, long life milk, feta, yogurt and ice cream. As well as pre-grated pizza cheese and rolls of mozzarella. We picked up some good deals on brie, blue cheese and camembert. The mozzarella was also well priced at R60.00 for 600g. The 1lt tubs of yogurt are also a steal at under R20.00. Spent R200.00 and walked away with a nice packet stocked with cheese and yogurt.

You can find some great specials here sometimes, but in general, their regular prices are not much better than your local supermarket. But when they have specials, the prices are great! You'll find various cheeses, long life milk, juice, Steri Stumpie and yoghurt here. Definitely pop in if you are in the area.

As the name suggests, it is a Factory outlet. Do not expect a deli. I am a bargain hunter so this is right up my alley with great bargains of under and overweight products and just generally good prices on all kinds of Dairy and Cheese products. If you like a bargain, come see what is on special.

Be sure to stop in and buy well-priced top grade cheeses from the Parmalat factory shop when visiting Stellenbosch. I suggest you get on their mailing list to find out what's on special before driving through -
sometimes there are no marked-down goods. Looks like the old Simonsburg cheeses that we know & love have been rebranded to be called President now but thankfully they didn't mess with the flavours!

The stock fluctuates a lot. Sometimes, they literally have nothing on a special. And sometimes, they have the very best specials that you can hope to find. So it really depends on your luck.

Very busy, those shopping for bulk deals where there in their droves. For those looking for cheese selection and nice platters, none available. Not sure if it was due to the festive season shopping, but all that we found were the bulk packs of milk and processed cheese etc.
Might pop round on a quiet day and hopefully find no queue’s and a better cheese selection.

Really got some lovely cheeses that were on sale. Just sorry we didn't get more while we were there. The milkshakes also went down well. We will definitely go back there again real soon to get some more. And hopefully they will have even more in sale.

Limited items and very unpleasant shopping experience with other customers pushing and being rude. On the other hand, some really good bargains on Dairy items to be had.
