  So sad to see Orient go. I'm shattered that Orient is no longer. It was one of our favourite restaurants in Jozi lovely Asian food particularly the dim sum and pecking duck. Its really sad to hear their doors have closed they didn't deserve this 😔

  The food was amazing, environment very welcoming. The Decor was on par . The prawn sushi was so delicious and fresh . The Staff very welcoming and Friendly . The order took the quickest time to arrive at our table. Overall, very impressed

  Beautiful setting..would have liked real chop sticks and not the bamboo wrapped in plastic. Had to add spice to my soup but I suppose that is understandable given everyone has a different sensitivity to heat. Cocktails were pricey.

  They should probably deserve 4 stars rather than 3, but I was not particularly impressed with the interior design, and mostly the sushi were not very good. However all the other asian dishes we tried were delicious! Especially the sizzling beef, the spring rolls and the duck...

  The Miso soup was the most authentic I have had since returning from Japan. The cocktails were utterly charming I particularly loved the hibiscus and strawberry gnt. The food was fantastic and well portioned. The desert we has was very rich and the service was great.

  This restaurant trip was a mission, because my wife wanted nice and authentic Thai. So I went googling and located this place.
  
  Personally for "taste of food" I will give it 5 stars... this had a finest tasting Thai Green Curry. The reason I am rating this 4 star is based on my holistic perspective --- Food Pricing 3 to 4 stars, Liquor 3 stars, Service 5 stars, Food quantity - 3 to 5 stars depending on your order (Dimsums could have been more, Thai Green Curry was just right).
  
  All said and done, I would surely visit again!!!
