Friendly staff. Food quality is good by wimpy standards, and the facility is clean both front and back of house.

Free WiFi is also offered, although the system is notoriously poor given most VAST systems.

We were greeted and served by the most friendly waitress. The meal was great. It's close to Home Affairs in Randburg making it a perfect stop after the long waiting queues at Home Affairs.

So, as far as wimpy's go this is one of the better ones in Johannesburg north. It's recent new management and refurbishing has turned it into a decent place to bring the kids anytime during the week day or weekend morning. The truth is the drive through is an attempt to branch out that simply doesn't work. Wimpy is a sit down kind of food and just ends up gross and mushy in a take away format.

What can you say about wimpy? Well this one no longer has a smoking section so if your looking for a morning coffee and smoke then guess you should try vaping now..

I'd rather eat rats than vape. But hey it's a nice place. Clean and plenty of sunshine and open space. The pricing is the usual wimpy style where it's just overpriced enough for you to be like "I just spent R200 on 2 burgers and a handful of chips and some coffee..?" but not overpriced enough for you to go to spur instead.

So all in all.. If your looking to just grab something less deadly than Macdonalds but still processed enough to make your cholesterol go bump in the night then this wimpy sure beats the rest in the surrounding area. Grab the kids and grandma and head down for a waffle and to see the local girls hockey team celebrate another defeat / win with milkshakes on a Saturday morning.

Always a good place to go for good food and great service. The restaurant was very full in the morning over the weekend but we didn't have to wait for a table. We received fantastic service from our waitress, our drinks and food arrived within 5 minutes of the order. Thank you to the manager and staff for being one of the best!

Friendly staff, a Customer friendly menu with good breakfast options n a variety on lunch options. Good food, kiddies play area, makes it convenient fr Mom n Dad to catch up while the kids entertain themselves. (it's nt huge bt the kids seem to enjoy it)
Free Wi-Fi fr the teens to catch-up on their social media activities
