Nice deli with different alternatives to just tea and coffee. Better suited to lunch than breakfast. A popular spot for cyclists and runners

One of the most consistent delis in Cape Town, opens early with fresh baked goods and coffee.

A good mix of seating inside and outside.

One of my favorite places to take my laptop and work.

Newport has been around for ages and their baked goods are pretty impressive. Their sandwiches are great although a little overpriced for what you get. Basically still hungry afterwards. There are some decent views and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Had the most unpleasant experience on Sunday 7 January.
Our family came through from Somerset West to spend the day and we wanted to kick off our day with a great breakfast therefore we arranged to meet up here. Having been here before we knew that they were kid friendly that made our sister feel comfortable to bring along her almost 2-year-old. This is in fact not the case. After him just touching the sugar on the table everything was taken from the table with the words “I will just take that”
We had coffee and planned to order but as my sister tried to put the little one to sleep (no crying was involved) management and other staff started giving us the most uncomfortable stares. It was so bad that mom and 2-year-old left the restaurant and rather went to sit in the car. We never ordered and rather settled our bill and left.
Staff and management was extremely rude in general. This spot is most definitely not kiddy friendly and in I will never return.

Casual eatery off the main road. Informal atmosphere. Coffee is nice, the carrot cake was underwhelming. The choc browny, no option of cream, only icecream. Service was good. Parking area in font, close to exit from the park. Very convenient in that respect.

Had a great time, good food and service but the coffee was not at their best this time (still a good cup, but not great)

Wonderful coffee shop. Delicious food, great service, nice setting. The almond croissants are the best in town!

Great views and a causal atmosphere. My chicken noodle soup was simple but tasty. The soup came with a warm but very hard roll. My Tell Aviv wrap was also good, but the falafel were awkwardly large and I didn't expect the salad in the wrap to contain pickles.

Good food and lovely vibe. Trendy with pet friendly outside tables. They even brought a water bowl for our 4-legged family member

Great food. Interesting selections of food. A little steep on the pricing side, unless you are from the USA or Europe, then it is really cheap, but not for the locals

There once was a good waitress that worked at the old spot and she was only a trainee, but since her have never had good service again. Nice healthy food though, a bit pricey. I recommend just ordering to go
