Good place for a quiet weekend away. Good for kids. Self catering accommodation so we didn't eat at the pub/restaurant.

I worked here. It has a trout dam and horse riding. Very scenic and an amazing putt putt course. World class.

Very nice resort, clean and neat chalets/units. Staff was very friendly but our welcome at reception was not very welcoming. Fishing was excellent and a huge improvement from the last time I stayed at the resort. Food was great. Many activities to keep you busy.

By far the worst holiday I have ever had!

The manager is the most rude and obnoxious person I have ever come across in the hospitality industry. Don't go to him with a complaint because it will be your fault but "the customer is always right so there is no point in arguing" and then he will make the rest of your stay a misery (including your children's stay).

Stay away from this place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with your family.

My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and we were very disappointed. The toilet wouldn't flush, the bath would not drain, there was one tiny little heater which the cleaning staff kept switching off so we froze, they over charged for wood so we couldnt even light a fire in the fireplace. The resterant was closed by 2 o clock so if we wanted supper we would have to travel to Nottingham road which was quite far from the resort. There was load shedding and the room really wasn't equipped for that and the radio turned on and off by itself.

Rooms are neat and cozy, staff are friendly, perfect for a family trip. Only disappointed with condition and maintenance of games room as well showers not having any pressure. Tennis Court are beneath trees and a layer of a slippery substance made 2 of my family members and I slip and fall while playing.

Plenty dams but make sure you bring your own fishing rods. Rental rods out of order. Great views. Very neat resort. Friendly staff

Absolutely beautiful! Was very impressed, as were upgraded when we got to reception to check in. They gave us keys to literal house. 4 bedrooms, 2 lounges, 3 patios, huge kitchen and our very own pool! All the finishing touches are wonderful, and truly makes it feel like home. There is plenty to do here too; hire bikes, feed/pet horses, trout fishing, theres a spa aswell (unfortunately i didnt have time to go) awesome restaurant too! Definitely a 5 star for this awesome place. Will definitely recommend it

After the renovations, excellent place to stay. Space between the units is extremely large. The facilities are excellent, setting is amazing and the horses are well-kept. Worth stopping over on your way to the coast.

Everything was spectacular. Wonderful relitively close getaway. No trout fishing was disappointing though.

If you require a relaxing weekend away, this is the Place to go. The Self catering apartments are very neat with a lovely jacuzzi. There are activities throughout the day for the kids & adults. Lots of fun. The staff are over effecicient.
