Ample parking. Love the fact that the store is going Green in order to safe energy. The panels also creates shade for the cars. Shop are clean & the specials they run always come in handy. Have noticed though that their clothing items are not cheaper & that certain underwear items are cheaper in your clothing stores. The staff attitudes are a bit to be desired. Instead of helping a customer after a shelve collapsing after she picked up a shoe box, they just giggled and scampered off

Dashed across town from Rivonia to Makro Strubensvalley to shop before it closed this afternoon. Sadly, I experienced the most disgusting customer service from Old Gus while trying to find an open cashier.
If I had to repeat what he said to my clients, I would be fired. Perhaps he should be reminded that customers ensure he has a job, and I am sure there are many people who would happily fill his position.
What a detriment to Macro West Rand indeed. Rest assured I will be taking my business elsewhere purely based on his sad, pathetic customer engagement!response / report this review -

I bought the cordless phones last month. Now they stopped working. The manager and stuff told me to book my phones in and wait for 14 to 21 days while they send them in for repairs. So In the meantime I must operate from my cell phone and my staff aswel.. shameful service. Next time I'll go to my favorite retailer. Builders warehouse.

Bought a brand new top of the range LG convection oven in December 2017. It stopped working about a month later. Took it back and Makro sent it to an authorised LG repair centre. Got it back 3 weeks later with exactly the same issue, still not working. Had to take it back again today and will probably wait another 3-6 weeks for them to repair it for a second time. Not sure they actually did anything the first time as it's a strange issue Our household will be without a microwave for about 2 months They are not willing to refund or replace this essential appliance and I have to be inconvenienced after buying a brand new appliance from them. Would not recommend Makro for any major appliances as they are not willing to sort out issues quickly and do not care about clients well being. No sense of urgency and no compassion. Never again Makro.

Always a great experience, great service. The shopping here is just superb. They have everything you can think of wanting and more. One can almost get lost in this place, that is how huge it is. The staff have extensive knowledge on every product under the roof and if the dont know, they will find out for you. I love this place. Even good to just browse. If you ever want good, quality products and only want to shop once, this is the place for you. Loads of parking and good specials and offers just waiting for you to grab it. No matter what day of the week you go there, there is always a deal going on.

The place is very neat and the staff are very nice. Not stuffy however the security do give you dirty looks like you have stolen. I understand that they have to look bad ass but they can soften the bad ass look a bit instead of accusing you with their eyes. Overall experience was great though.

Great for buying in bulk and if you'd just like to get your shopping done in one place. They have everything. usually have great specials and you'll probably find a very long queue at checkout but it definitely moves quick

5 people pushed infront of me in the ques abdominal some how still walked out without anything being checked on the till slip as I was standing waiting for security to come to the exit stood there for 10 mins. Come on people!!

Selection of products are good, but service at the till is shocking. We bought marked down products but the lady at the till did not ring up the goods with the discounted price. Thereafter it took extremely long to catch management's attention and to process the refund. It seems these guys operate their discounts manually. It feels like they are from the stone age. The service is not prompt and you still have to queue to exit the building with your slip. I only go here if it is my last resort.
