A gorgeous little hide away for a romantic weekend. Love that it's self catering with a kitted out kitchenette. Owners are very friendly and the resident doggies are very sweet. Really enjoyed our stay

Accommodation: this is the way its suppose to feel in the veld and bush. Stone house, veranda, fire place with great relaxing chairs, all the sounds of the night, cool air after sunset and a swell quarters. We brought the candles (plenty) and as Dean Martin sings: Flying to the moon and play amongst the stars!! Great start to our breakaway.

Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation in a chalet on a farm. Lovely garden and surrounds, friendly owners.
Although we hadn't pre-booked pub grub we were offered a meal on arrival. Being quite away from town we were happy to eat there - a simple meal of pie, chips and salad which was the meal of the evening being offered. There was no menu or other choices. For budget accommodation we were glad for a meal and a roof over our heads.
There are walking trails, and one can have a go at clay pigeon shooting. Otherwise take it easy and relax at this farm-based lodgings, away from the hustle and bustle of life.response / report this review -
