The first camp in the Kruger National Park.
The shop is overpriced but you can buy many things. Always the best to buy outside of the Park.
Enough playground for the youngsters and a swimmingpool for the extreme or any hot days.
Bangalows/Chalets are in a reasonable condition, attention to maintenance must be adressed.
Staff is friendly.
They moved the day visitors picnic spot outside the camp. All camps should follow this example.response / report this review -

Always the best. Love the Park and God help us that it is always preserved for the sake of the animals and the enjoyment we derive from them & the bush.

What an awesome place. We stayed in a 6 sleeper Hut/Rondawel , Bathrooms were neat and clean and there is disinfectant spray for the toilets,nice touch.
Well maintained camp , the pool is well designed , making nature part of it the pools design was a good choice.
The shop is well stocked with a variety of goodies. 4 big thumbs up for me.response / report this review -

Long overdue general maintenance is being done. The restaurant (Wimpy) has very poor service and quality. The shop is very expensive but well stocked. Rooms are clean and ablutions are being maintained.

First time visit to this camp. It has all the facilities. Nice playground for children as well. Nice camping place included

The swimming pool built into a hug rock is a unique feature of this camp. Accommodation in chalets, the usual good Park Shop and a Wimpy if you need fast food.

Not a bad camp that we dont often stay at during visits to Kruger but the chalets are of a good standard. A general store that has a fairly good selection of grocery items and curios. Not a bad experience at all. Game drives offered by the Camp as part of the activities.

Clean restrooms. Good general store. Wonderful bri with cool neighbors. We had a great time here.
The service everywhere outside our bungalow was great. Ony reason that this is not a 5 star raiting is because of the state of things inside of our bungalow. First: there was what appeared to be a blood stain on the pillow, but without my CSI kit i cannot tell you whose blood it was. Second: There was LITERALLY gravel between the mattress and the lower sheet! I wish that i had taken a picture of the sheet as well = when we pulled the covers off, the bottom sheet only covered the top 3/4 of the mattress.?????!? Who even stocks sheets that won't cover the beds that they provide?
I don't want to diminish all the wonderful things that this campground and this amazing park have to offer So know that this last part was the only reazon this place did not get a 5 star review.response / report this review -

Not as well organized as Letaba Rest Camp, we were given the wrong keys for our room which was all ready open when we arrived. We returned the key given to us and a spare key wasn't present at reception. This made us feel uncomfortable with the idea that our things would not be safe in our room, given that someone might have gotten hold of our rooms spare keys.

Friendly staff and a great swimming pool. No view beyond the fence though. Excellent bird life. Fully stocked shop from mosquito nets to basic medication and beer
