Lovely place, spending our 12 year anniversary here, so much to do, heated pools, cold pool, Jacuzzis, etc we did a self game drive, we did a 4x4 trIal, we did a great walk 5 km so much to do. Love this place. Will recommend it any day

It's a well placed lodge as it's central to many other places to view. Can be very cold in summer and weather is very unpredictable at that height. Beautiful mountains with clouds that come to your face. One heated pool outside and the Jacuzzi must be paid for and small kids aren't allowed. 4x4 Trail was quite nice and so were the hikes. Wild animals roam free so u can drive around which is nice.

peaceful holiday resort great for the whole family! you can also own a chalet with lpa. what friendly staff! service is great! the pizzas at the restaurant are also the best in the area. entertainment for the kids and a huge beautiul game reserve. perfect for people who love nature, very close to gods window and the panorama route. I would recommend it to all traveling families.

Beautiful scenery all the chalets are perfectly placed. There are a countless number of swimming pools and most of them are heated which is a good thing as the location does get really cold. Plenty of hiking trails to embark on. I did love the maid service as they were practically like ghosts and never got in our way you'd go for a short walk and when you come back everything is clean and in order. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent place. All the extras they do makes it even more worthwhile. Even the shop, bar and restaurant are surprisingly cheap with lots of specials. Games, put-put, game drive are for free. Nice and very well maintained resort and very friendly people and service. The kids loved it. Anyone who goes there will enjoy it. Thanx Crystal Springs. See you next year for sure.

Elegant, large resort on a mountain and forest reserve with game drives, 4x4 routes, mountain bike and 4 walking trails available. Accommodation in larger lodges or smaller suites - both well furnished and self catering. A cozy bar with fireplace for chilly evenings is near the pizza oven & restaurant. A spa, gym, heated pools, games room, tennis courts, putt putt and a shop with basic supplies is on site. Weather can be unpredictable and very misty and cold so bring warm clothing.

A truly beautiful setting. All the chalets are situated on the edge of a ravine and the views are spectacular! It is so quiet at night and when the sky's are clear, you get to see a million billion stars in the night sky.
The facilities at the resort are great. There is a fully equipped gym and a spa that offers a range of massages. The resort is massive and is spectacular to self drive (if you have the right vehicle) they also offer game drives hosted by informative rangers.
The restaurant offers a range of really good food at great prices. The bar is cosy and the bar staff will keep you entertained.
There are heated pools and there is also a small convenience store that has a good selection of goods from sweets to wood.
Putt putt course, games room for the kids, tennis courts, squash court, hiking trails and a lot of animals.
This resort is amazing and has something for the whole family. Perfect for a family getaway where you can relax and unwind and bond with your family! 5/5 and seriously amazing!response / report this review -

Overall the stay was great they helped where they could. Game drive we took was very informative, the games room was welcoming and very friendly. The pool area, spa and bar was absolutely a delight. The only issue we had was the tiki shop not having variety of choices, me understanding that is far away from your local shops. As for the cafe and restaurant they are in need of serious fixing at the cafe you have to find someone to help you and when you find them they are not as helpful, the atmosphere is dull and not welcoming. The food is lacking in seasoning, flavor and oringinality.

A truly magnificent restful lay-over and holiday venue. Gardens are well kept. View is stunning. Local shop is sparse but stocks essentials. Restaurants good.

Spent 3 nights here over the Easter holidays and it was a great start to our South African holiday. About 4 hours drive from Joburg airport and a good stop over before Kruger. We loved the views from our 2 bedroom lodge, had a BBQ, enjoyed the restaurant and spotted lots of animals from the deck

Excellent customer service. My husband and we're in an accident on the way to the lodge (about 20km out). The resort manager drive out to fetch us at 9:30pm. He still went the extra mile in organizing a shuttle to the nearest town. The resort itself is beautiful and a great getaway from the rat race we call life. Being without a car during the stay made us appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Our room warm, cozy and had a balcony which showed off a magnificent landscape. Crystal Springs is perfectly located and is a little Haven in the mountains.
