Very nice decor, atmosphere and facilities. One of the best spas I've been to in Johannesburg. Free nespresso coffee and other drinks are offered. The pool area is lovely to relax and unwind. The Swiss shower and steam room add to a great experience. My Swedish massage was good. My pedicure was not as great - my nails werent buffed nor filed which I thought was very weird. Other than that, I had a great time and will be back.

I've been here a couple of times and the service is always great. Relaxing atmosphere. The executive room is amazing, with a Jacuzzi, champagne and a platter. I loved it

All staff seem to be well trained in customer service. I felt like a VIP guest. My spa treatments were wonderful and the facilities world class. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Certainly my new favorite spa!

My 10yr old daughter attended a party. The concept is great (jacuzzi, kiddie bubbly, music etc) staff set up everything including the party pack unfortunately the girls said of the 9 therapist only 2 were nice the others were rude and lazy. My daughter's pedicure is smudged and looks awful she said the therapist saw it but didn't care she put on the top coat. If I had paid for that service I would be upset. Yes they are children but they are being charged so should get proper service my daughter has been to other spas where the therapist take pride in there jobs and are friendly. I was shocked when she told me the pamper part was awful and gave me her reasons that's 7 children who will never return to that spa.

I have never been to a spa prior to my day at Life day spa. This was in December 2017. I found it to be a clean and elegant place with extremely friendly staff. The massage and treatment itself was relaxing and enjoyable. I made a point to take a loyalty card and I certainly will be returning.

This spa used to be top notch but has been gradually taking a turn for the worse due to lack of upkeep. The (mostly out of sight) finishing in many places are suffering badly from damp damage and the scent of mildew is noticeable throughout. There are much better kept spa's in Gauteng to spend your money at.

Mediocre experience but not something I would repeat. Flotation chamber was broken but not advised when booking was made. The hot water temperature was at best luke warm. And the jacuzzi in the luxury couple suite was not working either. Only reason I enjoyed any of it was due to the company I had.

Collapsing treatment table (during treatment!), changing appointments without notifying client, change room constantly out of tiles, maintenance needed in certain areas, snippy and sometimes downright rude reception staff. If it weren't for the great therapist, Megan, or the fact I prepaid for a course of treatments, I'd never go back! Once the treatments are done, I'm walking out for the last time with a sense of relief that I don't have to go back!

Dissapointing.
1) Badly planned change room
2) Cheap plastic tumblers in the bathroom
3) Waiting area was basically a couch in the passage where you get to watch and listen to the staff banter and chit chat and people clamber up and down the stairs.
4) Nobody asked your name
5) Equipment standing the passage spoiled the ambiance.
6) Couples room was basically 2 separate rooms with an inter-leading door
7) once massage was over, no one gave any indication of how to proceed.
8) Cheap aerosol type deodorant in the bath room as opposed to perfume

Bottom line don't waste your time or money on this sausage factory
