Good food, great service. Highly recommended.

Tip - try the Japanese oysters. They are delicious.

We had the seafood platter for 2 with the crayfish. The crayfish and deep fried calamari wasn't great, rest was good. Paying more than R400 extra for the crayfish was a waste.

The cheeseburger and chicken curry my kids had was really very tasty.

    Our waiter, Bongani, was awesome.

The restaurant has a great vantage point over the ocean which would be ideal during the whale watching season. The Kingklip Fish dish is a truely South African show piece which is not only beautifully presented but cooked as well. The local Hermanus Old Harbour Craft beer which has won the 2017 South African Craft beer competition, is also available. The combination of these two makes it a memorable experience. Bookings for the evening are recommended.

Fantastic dining experience. A wide variety of seafood prepared in unusual wayslike the tuna skewers with ginger slaw. Cooked perfectly and served by such friendly and helpful staff, but be warnedyou need to book at least a day in advance.

We had lunch with friends again yesterday. Lunch was good but about an hour waiting time due to large group. Meal was good but not the best that I have had there. My friend had a salad which looked delicious. My husband had a dish with Kalahari and 2 of us had fish and chips. It's always been our favourite restaurant in Hermanus but will be trying another one next time.

The food is excellent here, their fish dishes are among the best I have ever had. Can highly recommend the Grilled Tuna and Teriyaki Salmon both were cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy.

The food is decently priced for the restaurant's location with a wonderful view over the bay. The only downside was that we had to wait quite a long time for every course that was ordered. It was worth the wait but to keep in mind if you are limited on time.

If you are visiting Hermanus - Sea side village in WC South Africa, you owe it to yourself to eat at this restaurant. Service was excellent, view of the ocean is outstanding! We actually saw Whales Breeching out in the ocean right from our table! Food is fresh and seafood outstandng ! Will definitely eat there again.

We came here due to the high ranking on Tripadvisor. It was OK, but not great. Not a restaurant I would return to.

This was definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the quaint little sea side town of Hermanus. I especially loved their prawns.

Awful ,sushi that looks better than it tastes. The fish wasn’t fresh as it should be.The sushi rice was bland and soggy and felt more like a machine-pressed paste. The seaweed soggy Wasabi had no flavor.Steak my husband ordered was undercooked. Service was also subpar. It was all chaotic, disorganised.Wrong orders were being brought to the table. The food from the kitchen came out and we then waited roughly 45 minutes for the sushi to come out.Dirty tables, very uncomfortable chairs. Manager on duty was useless. Complained he told me they were busy. Waiter couldn’t conserve in English/Afrikaans. Do yourself a favour go elsewhere.

Lemon Butta did not meet our expectations. Food is ok at best, service is friendly and quick but does not follow requests, restaurant itself is crowded, loud and little inviting.

We ordered a sushi platter as main course. In advance - while ordering - we asked whether any of the sushi was covered in mayonnaise and asked it to be left of as we do not like that. We were assured that this is not the case. Half the platter's sushi was garnished with mayonnaise sashimi was very generous portion, but cut too thick to my liking.

It was difficult to find how to get into the place. Suggested they should have a sign saying"hidden treasure because it sure is" Had the seafood platter for two and excellent service. Great view and glad we persisted to find the restaurant.

Kak food, good service, Butternut salad with 5 pieces of butternut and a bowl of spinach, and then 50 bucks for a rock shandy. Not impressed. Good location and view that's about it.

We were stuck around the corner in the restaurant & I jokingly suggested that they should not forget us as we were out of sight. Guess what!? My wife's fish & chips was good, but my seafood platter belonged back where it came from. It was a disaster. They tried to make good by giving us a reduction on the bill, and thank you. Very poor.
