Great place for eating fish. Best fish I have eaten in South Africa and very nice waitress! I absolutely recommend!

The restaurant has a beautiful view and a lively buzz. However, the silver fish was tasteless and presented unimaginatively. My guests did not find the seafood platters very tasty. The only worthwhile dishes were the Thai curry and the seafood chowder starter. There is much better food and value for money elsewhere. I will not visit them again.

Love this place. For me it has the most stunning views in Hermanus looking out over the bay. Situated in the new harbor with lots of parking. Interior is contemporary and beautiful. Great place to start off your day with a breakfast. But all their menus are awesome with interesting dishes as well as sushi. Casual and relaxed but refined

Food was very good. But I would have enjoyed bigger serving sizes prices were a little to high for the quantity.
The waitress was really nice, helpful and efficient.

Our waiter really made a great effort to do everything right. I especially appreciated that he asked if he could bring some red sauce, meaning tomato sauce, for the kids so as not to get them riled up.
Despite his great attempts the overall experience was fairly average. The setting was good. Great view of the ocean and comfortable seating arrangement.
The sushi was good. They had some strange version of my all time favourite rainbow rolls so I had to settle for something else. The mussels were in a beer sauce which added a slight sweetness to the dish and lacked the robust flavours that white wine brings to the creamy sauce.
The kids fish nuggets were still frozen on the inside! It's not the first time we've been to a restaurant where this happened but it really irks me when places think they can provide sub-standard meals because it's for children! The chef sent his apologies but still that's not on. For the rest everyone enjoyed their meals.response / report this review -

We went to the restaurant with a group of 14 persons. Everybody was really happy with their meals, drinks, excellent service. Nice and comfortable restaurant with an amazing view. Would like to come back. Can really recommend going there.

This is a really chill and unique place in the new harbor of Hermanus! The menu lends itself toward all the deliciousness the ocean has to offer and the wine list has a lot of hidden treasures. I opted for a chilled Pino Nior to accompany my sushi platter and my deep fried camembert with figs and nuts for desert. The view is awesome and the staff are very friendly and well spoken! I'm definitely coming back!

Sushi is amazing! Salmon roses or try the rock roses! We had a bad experience a couple of years ago, but I've had great food there every time since (6+ visits). Amazing views - worth it!

Lovely selection of sea food and sushi. Sea food curry was a bit disappointing but everything else was great. Especially the mussels.
Good atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a great sushi special that's worth taking advantage of.
It's a good spot for winter or summer with ample parking space.
The staff were great with the young kids in our party and were sure to bring their orders quickly.response / report this review -

Popular and friendly - Gamieda and her team are very friendly and attentive. The wife's sushi was "nothing extraordinary", I had a lovely pork belly that was gorgeous in the middle but slightly dry around the edgesoverall nice vibe, friendly staff, bit pricey, but clearly popular with locals.

Merely average. Sushi was unfortunately very average. Oysters were good though. Service was slow and not very attentive. Lamb was very bland. Beautiful views if you're lucky enough to get a table next to the window. If you're looking for good quality food rather pass, and visit one of the many other places with beautiful views.

A great menu which offers a beautiful selection of dishes that are cooked and served how they should be! Reliable - the quality of food never is under par! The best Strawberry Daiquiri I've ever had! Professional, Honest Restaurant & Bar Staff! Free parking!
