Great Portuguese food, a hidden dive in the suburbs of Pretoria. They serve the best peri peri chicken livers.

This place I read about 8 months ago and the reviews were great. So finally got a change to dine there.

The place looks like a typical style restaurant in LM. The seating looked cramp and almost got the feeling well all dining together as one big happy group.

The smoking section(the bar) smoke goes thru the entire restaurantnot good!

Our waiter was excellent. He had a great attitude and really had a good rapport with all the patrons.

I had a oyster starternothing special.

My partner has the scallops servers with brown bakery breadthe scollops were chewy and tasteless. The sauce it’s served with was a kind of warrior and basil one a oil base

For the mains I had a Sole and prawnthe ocean basket would have done a far better version of this meal ( and I passionately dislike Ocean Basket).

My partner had the prawn and something that look like calamari but tasted horribly different.

    The prawns were average.

Not a place I would recommend not visit again based on my experience.

At the outset of our meal, I was rather concerned as the restaurant did not inspire me with " a good meal feeling. But was I wrong! The service was good, the food was good, and our party of four walked away agreeing that it was an alround good meal. Well worth a visit if you enjoy seafood.

This is a great local eaterie, frequented by loyal patrons of varying demographics. Really good seafood, and the complimentary chicken liver starters are some of the best I've ever had. Also unique is that the waiters have been there for years, some as old as 70. In a time of ageism this is a refreshing thing to see and the owner deserves praise for that alone. We keep going back.

In a residential area, not very visible from afar. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and bar area with some beers on tap.

Food not good, prices too high for what is served, place is "dead" inside. All seafood taste the same, way too much lemon on everything. A sure 1/10.

We were 10 people with 10 different dishes and we all feel that it is one of the better restaurants in Pretoria.

Food was okay, but it did not help to see all the cockroaches running around. The dado rail against the wall by the booths had many cockroaches hiding under it. The air-con was also dripping water on us the whole time. Sort out your maintenance and cockroaches please.

One of the long time Pretoria oldies. Don't be put off by the exterior, it's casual charm is all on the inside. Great seafood, steaks, everything! And you get a little treat too, traditional peri-peri chicken livers starter with crispy homemade rolls.
