Absolutely beautiful place!! I would realy love to come visit again mid summer (we visited the lodge mid winter), when everything is green and fresh. If you do plan on visiting the lodge during winter, I do however recommend you pack your long-johns, is it can become FRESH outside. Great accommodation comes at reasonable rates, definitely money woth spending.

Beautiful location. Perfect place to take a break from the city and get away. Lots of fun activities to get up to including fishing, canoeing and horse riding. Beautiful hiking trial. Will definitely be back

Very very beautiful it's amazing actually there are lots to do lots to see very nice restaurant, hiking trails ,rock climbing, game drives ,fishing ,there is also boats you can ride ,there is a cave , 2 waterfalls and lots more to do.🐒🐟🌴👍

The perfect get-away for the person who doesn't expect perfection. This pet friendly lodge has a unique setting with spectacular views, fresh air, hikes, outrides and good food. There is no internet or cell phone reception, so you really do get away from the world.

Tasteful and well equipped self catering accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Chalets right on the rocky river with views of the red cliff face of the gorge. Loads of activities for the whole family. We enjoyed hiking, horse riding, canoeing and shooting. We had good light lunches in the restaurant. Well worthwhile

Went here for our 26th anniversary dinner, whilst next door at Doornkop and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is private, but if you phone them beforehand and tell them you would like to visit they will book you at the restaurant.
