Great destination-quiet, relaxing and most enjoyable. Away from the hustle and bustle, if you take the supplies with you at the start, you will have a awesome trip. Fishing in the dams is excellent-areas to fish for all types of skill-and like any fishing, what you put in, is what you get out(wake early, take local advice on flies etc). Units are spacious, clean and well appointed. Romantic with the fireplace and the activities around the property. Selected game makes this resort a winner. Would recommend!

A beautiful outdoor escape with wonderful trails to hike. There are a number of dams where you can go fly fishing. There is wildlife roaming around the reserve - you often are greatest by ostriches pecking at your window! Go for horseriding or e quire at the reception for other activities that can be done in the area.

We saw warthogs, wildebeest, baffalo, springbok, giraffe. We enjoyed the low temperatures, it helped us make good use of the fire place. Unlike most self-catering establishments you cannot expect to buy wine or beer inside the residence. Stock up really well.

Beautiful mountains, walks, sunrises and sunsets, what else could you possible want? Here's some things that you might want think about. The wifi is fast but doesn't work. There are often times no fish at all. And you are far away from any emergency centers.

Beautiful place to relax, go on lovely hikes and game drives. Saw all of the game in the reserve this time around, including giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, eland, kudu and so many blesbok it was amazing. Also great trout fishing as usual, although this trip I only landed one about +/- 600g, but did see that others had caught some up to 1.2 kg. Highly recommended. JGT
