The very best treatment I have ever experienced from any health care, human or animal. Dr Adri Scholtz was professional and extremely caring. Thank you.

I was really impressed by the knowledge and care shown by the staff and vet on duty here.

They were really accommodating with a late booking and went the extra mile to help us even though they aren't our regular vets.

The prices are reasonable, and for the level of care, I would definitely recommend this place.

Both my 17 year old cats are seeing different vets, they treat them like they are family and have prolonged the quality and quantity of my cats life

I am only able to write this "review" after four days, as initially I was too heartbroken, and then angry and disillusioned in people whom I always believed put animals' wellbeing first. After two days of hospitalization and tests, I was advised that my beloved 15 year-old cat had Lymphoma, and as you can imagine I was devastated - I was further advised that I could take him home, and basically had the weekend to decide which course of treatment to commence with.

As I am a "housewife", my husband pays all the bills, and more specifically those above a certain amount. I attempted to contact my husband who was, unfortunately, in a meeting and could not be reached. Let me mention that at this time my cat was in his "box" in reception, ready to be taken home to be loved and have his final time with us made as comfortable as possible.

When I couldn't get hold of my husband, I assured the receptionist that he would make immediate payment (bearing in mind that one has already paid a deposit) when his meeting had adjourned, and I offered to leave my Amex card there as "collateral", as they don't accept this form of payment.

The vet treating my cat informed the receptionist that this would NOT be acceptable and they advised that I could not take my terminally ill pet home until payment was made. In my distraught state I had to hand my cat back to them to be put in a cage. I could only but leave and was contacted by my husband five minutes later, and payment was duly made. I immediately turned around and went to collect my cat. The attending vet never even had the courtesy to come and speak to me herself, even upon my return.

I know that this review is essentially worthless as it won't change anything, but the heartless manner in which I, as an "animal lover" were treated still leaves me gagging. To be sure, my faith in vets doing what they do for the love of animals, has been destroyed, and all I can do is make sure that this situation NEVER arises again, and will never support this clinic again.

Our dog, who was not using his leg after a previous operation, was diagnosed by the vet with a torn cruciate ligament so we booked him in for an operation to fix It. It turned, once he was in theatre, that his ligament was fine and it was actually the loose pins from the previous operation that was causing the agitation. When why wife asked why the bill, to correct an issue with the original operation (done by same vet) was so high (R6000) she was shouted at by the vet and left in tears.

I won't take my baby anywhere else. He had a hip replacement a few years back and it was a huge success. He had a few other procedures after that - also great success. The staff is awesome and the doctors/surgeons are fantastic. The procedures was expensive but one thing is for sure, they are not in it for the money. If you had the same work done anywhere else, you would probably pay about twice as much with half the success.
