When to this venue on new years and i can say its a real gem of a site . There is plenty of space for camping and the facilities are clean and organized . There beautiful is a river and cliff jump at the bottom with a swimming pool close to it . This is an awesome little get away close to Jhb. follow

Hornbill lodge is wonderful
A very special effort has been put into this lodge.
The gardens are exquisite and the pools are always clean and sparkly
Lovely rooms and good food and fantastic owners , even some animals please give this a try if you would like a family environment or a function

Had lunch at Hornbill Lodge and Legends Restaurant and ate one of their delicious burger specials, with homemade beef patties. Their food is always delicious and they have absolutely no problem with swapping chips for a tasty salad. Highly recommend them if you are in the area.

Hornbill also offer a hike up the mountain every Saturday at 11am.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at Hornbill . The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was wonderful , but you need a big appetite as the portions are big , you will not go hungry. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay wonderful. We will be back as soon as we can. Nicky and Miguel

Great venue for festivals. Beauty scenery and the upkeep of the place is good. Would definitely recommend for a wedding, dance festival etc.
