The hospitality at the Hitgeheim is world class. The food is great, the rooms well appointed, and the views breathtaking. But the something extra that you will not find anywhere else is the phenomenal people who work there, you will be hard pressed to find more accommodating individuals anywhere. I would recommend going to South Africa solely to stay at the Hitgeheim.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft , mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht , sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern, perfektes Essen . Nicht billig , aber für die Qualität angemessen .

Beautiful! Eastern Cape's best kept secret. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent staff. Loved every minute here. So romantic.
