Fantastic staff, lodging (we were at Long Lee) and game viewing. Our game ranger James was extremely knowledgeable and made it one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!

We've stayed at Long Lee Manor for two nights.
Beautiful property, great service and excellent safari guides. We've seen so many animals and got really close to nature.
If you want to have unforgettable memories, this is the place to go. The only thing which could be improved is the food. Some dishes (especially dinner) were fabulous, but breakfast and lunch were not on the same level.

Recommended by a friend and fully lived up to expectations. We stayed in the tented lodge Bayethe, and the accommodation was great. Dining was of exceptional standard but of course the highlight was the game drives. Our driver Jacques was outstanding - very knowledgeable and with a lovely ironic sense of humour. Try to do a walking trip in the early afternoon. These aren’t standard but if people express interest they will try to run one. So good to see the wildlife from ground level.

Shamwari was the most incredible experience from arriving to departing. The staff were amazing friendly the rooms beautiful luxury. We were lucky enough to have the top Ranger Mino who was just the icing on the cake went above our expectations to show us the most wonderful animals & the magical world of Shamwari☺

We have experienced the explorer camp for 2 days with both game drives and game walks, it was one of the most amazing experiences of our life !
I travel a lot and still, I rarely find myself so fascinated.
The camp is the "real" safari experience and is really nice (but we have been nicely moved to a lodge for the second night because of strong winds).
I have to say, we got chased by 3 black rhinos but our great rangers Westley & Tyron reacted perfectly and saved our lives with their great experience and calm, thank you guys for the amazing weekend :-)
Hearing the lions roaring during the night while you are staring at all the stars the sky possesses, this has no price
I recommend totally and we'll definitely go back within the next 3 years !

The stay of a lifetime! Stayed in Long Lee Manor and it's such a fantastic place. Rooms were perfect and the location is in the heart of the reserve, so you can view the wildlife from your room and when you go out on safari you're already in the middle of the actionwhich maximises your time with the animals. They also didn't stop feeding us high quality food! Our ranger Abel was incredible. His knowledge, experience and unique way of bringing the reserve alive is out of this world. Above all he was relentless in his quest to make sure we saw everything and more!! If you're reading this to work out if you should book Shamwari then I'd recommend it 110%!! I can't see how you'd be disappointed and the malaria free area is such a plus!

Amazing place, people and food. The level of care and attention from everyone is extraordinary and the game viewing is surprisingly comprehensive - my children have seen in their first day the big 5 with both white and black rhino as well as cheetah, lion hunting buffalo and a herd of about 45 elephants. They are both blown away!
