Quite a drive there but the reward is worth it. Absolute exquisite views, friendly staff and above average food. Staff go above and beyond to create a cosy, warm atmosphere, with great service, really superb. Rooms are also bit of a walk but a beautiful one and once there stunning views. Rooms are spacious with shower and a bath and tastefully decorated. Go for at least 2 days, have a good relax and soak up natures calmness, take a book and camera. We enjoyed tea and evening drinks on the beautiful veranda and breakfast and supper in their lovely al-la-carte restaurant. On departure, we found that the ground staff had even washed our car for us, fantastic surprise 😁 Definitely worth another visit or two!

We've been here twice. It takes a drive but it is worth while. Wonderfull romantic place, stunning views and great hospitality! On Valentines' day our four poster bed was covered with rose petals.

Breathtaking views, very nice tents, good food, very nice personnel.
The concept wasn't quite clear to us. They seemed to try to be both, a posh ex-colonial style lodge and an extraordinary camp in the middle of the wilderness at the same time. It didn't feel entirely authentic to us.
They have to preserve energy using solar panels. For that reason they do not offer TV water heaters in the rooms, AC, fridges etc. No big deal but one should be aware of this.

What an amazing gem just outside the Addo national park. This quaint safari lodge provides an authentic colonial safari experience. Superb facilities to outstanding service.
