I will be making very strong recommendations to the University of Cape Town to discontinue your services.

I've paid 400 for 3 photographs, which were promised to be sent over a month ago. I have since FINALLY received the digital copies. The pictures I took on my cell phone at my graduation are better. My photographs look terrible, and I've been forced to edit them myself. The lighting is despicable for a professional photographer.

Additionally, as a black student, graduation is very important to me. FOUR HUNDRED RAND FOR THREE PHOTOGRAPHS IS DISGUSTING. And makes the graduation memory inaccessible for many black students.

I have also sent 9 emails to this company, enquiring where my photographs are. None were answered. I had to fork out more money to phone only to be told that there is a delay. More than a month after the photos were due. There was no communication prior to this to inform me of anything, and had I forgotten about my order, who knows what they would have said about the R400.

So you pay too much money for rubbish photos, with atrocious lighting, zero customer service, and delays. I can only use one of the three photos, which has also obviously been cropped and so is also inferior quality.

I want my money back, and I will not rest until everyone knows how terrible GH Photographic is and until UCT recognises another graduation photographer.

No apology will rectify the 9 emails that went unanswered, nor will it remedy the fact that I have useless photographs of myself on the stage I'd waited to grace for years during my degree.
