Doors of the office and storeroom next to room 216 opening and closing the whole night by night shift staff. Could not get much more than a couple of hours sleep. I was not very happy this time around. Make sure you take another room!

Brilliant hotel. Stay there often. The suites are a walk away from the main casino area, and the breakfast options do not cater much for the health conscious, however they do make it a warm and joyful experience.

Nice hotel, just 4 minutes walk into the Emperors Casino. Guest also have free unlimited WiFi across the hotel. However there was no bottled water in the hotel room and the surfacing didn't look that clean as I found home ladies hair

Why is the wash area designed in such a manner? 2 small cubicle like spaces which would work better if there was no partition in between because the toilet is quite cramped, also you can't use the wash basin if you are staying with friends or siblings while they are in there because the wash basin is located outside the two cubicles who in fact have a frosted glass all around and no locks!! So yes, that's quite awkward. Everything else is perfectly fine.

Situated within the emperor palace hotels and resorts which board 4 hotels one 5stars hotel (Doreal Grande) and 1 Stars and 3 Stars. Just 5 minutes away to O R Tambo where you can catch the charter which run every 20 Minutes free of charge from the hotel to airport and from the airport to the hotelgreat service and very great location

Not worthwhile the money spent. Hotel rooms are not ready on time and staff is unprepared. They had all the information in advance but still a total let down. Assigned 2 Single beds for a couple booking and did not change until stressed upon. You have to take your own baggage to the room. Rooms are very small and end as soon as you enter. The electricity port does not work, safe provided does not open. To top it all, the toilets are dirty.
You will have to stand in a queue for checking in only to be told that room cleaning status is not updated in the system. I met a German family who were waiting for 5 hrs, for the room with kids exhausted (one of them diabetic) only to be told to wait further. Check out time is 11 am and check in at 3 pm, so what do they do in these 4 hrs?
My recommendation is to avoid this place if possible. A complete downer for me. My first experience of South Africa is demolished by this hotel.response / report this review -

Nice spacious room and very friendly staff. Helpful and following up on questions. Perfect customer centricity. I would not mind some more international channels (BBC, CNN and the likes) on the TV, but the offering is fine as is. Free wifi which is fast enough for VoIP voice and video calls back home.
The Peermont Metcourt Suite is part of a large, connected facility with multiple hotels, restaurants (huge entertainment Plaza with multiple good restaurants), conference center and casino so plenty to enjoy. Good complimentary shuttle service to airport.response / report this review -

The Emperors palace is a lovely complex to spend a night or 2. We booked at the Metcourt but unfortunately our baby wasn't well so we ended up leaving.

Room walls was Dirty and had dirt marks at multiple areas
Shower glass was dirty
Air-con was not working
Bath Towels was old, yellow stained and worn-out on the edges
Only flat sheet on bed and no fitted sheet, one of the beds didn’t even have a mattress protector. This is unhygienic and not a norm and especially not for a 3 star hotel
Small green pillows on beds was brown from the dirt
Breakfast was disappointing for a 3star hotel, as there was not a big variety of items and constantly had to ask the floor staff to top up the serving tables as not all the options was available to the customers.
My overall experience was not good at all and I give it a rating of 3/10 considering the fact that it is a 3 star hotel.response / report this review
