It is an amazing place!I love the peace and quietness of the area.The garden,pool and all the friendly stuff.I can definitely recommend it to everyone but If they can add more hours of booking out depending on the check-in time .And definitely coming back soon :) Thank you

Wonderful staff and a most hospitable owner. Stayed for about a week in the 'apartment' overlooking the courtyard and immediately felt at home. Easy access to great bars and restaurants in Melville and the rest of the city. The simple but always satisfying breakfasts were a nice touch. I would go out of my way to stay at the Ginnegaap again.

Wonderful place! Luckily got a room here last minute. We showed up early from an overnight flight and the owner gladly let us check in early and even gave us a suite. Wish we were here longer. The entire place is spotless and meticulously well kept. It's in a nice spot in Melville and an easy walk to some cool bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful! Meet and greet and felt so welcome. Room clean and neat. Bathroom and loo and basin spotless with great linen. Soap bath foam and handcreme. Bed comfy and bedroom with aircon. Lounge with tv. Breakfast good range served at table. Loved it.

We were originally tried to book at another guesthouse who were full, the owner recommended Ginnegaap Guesthouse to us. It was a little more expensive but just as peaceful. Thanks to Thulani Lodge for making a plan for us.

Tres bien acceuillis. Logement agréable, très bien situé. Un quartier à visiter. Proche de pas mal de restaurant, dont "the countess" et un petit italien. Un plus pour la literie au top.
Seul petit bémol, sûrement guest hous plein durant notre visite puisque léger manque d'eau chaude mais quelques heures plus tard problème résolu. En tout cas notre meilleur choix à Johannesburg.
