The service was great. The waiter was always 1 step ahead of my thoughts. The food was enjoyable too. I loved the perfectly done salmon and the just-right roasted vegetables. The place has just earned its spot on my list of restaurants to visit again.

Great restaurant.
The have some craft beer on tap. The selection on the menu is really good. Do yourself a favour and try some of the unusual items on the menu.
There's always a festive vibe in the air, and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Lovely to sit outside. If you don't drink alcohol then maybe five it a miss. Has a strong brewery smell. Not bad but you can smell it. Food really good

Great neighborhood restaurant with a mixed menu and tasty beer list. We had the burger and a 1/2 kilo of ribs and enjoyed a few pints. The service was great and the restaurant had a nice outdoor patio to relax and soak up some sun.

This is a very nice place for lunch and for dinner! Also the bar there is great. The food is very yummy, especially the pizza is delicious! The ambience is very cosy and the staff is very friendly. It's also a very nice place, if you want only want to have some nice beers with some friends, because the selection is very satisfying. :-)

Vibey place with great food and drinks. You have to try The big Lebowski, the best cocktail I've ever had.
Flatbreads are really nice, also the albóndigas, as a Spaniard I can tell they are very accurate. I usually have to ask for take away, since the quantity is very high for its quality and price.
One of my Top 5 places in Johannesburg.

What a gem. Stunning balanced cocktails combined with a variety of great starters and mains. The springbok (well done) and ostrich (medium rare) with woodfired vegetables and a red wine jus is red-meat nirvana.

Amazing food, best pizza in town. Good craft beer. Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Not cheap if you go for the extravagant menu items, but honestly, not more expensive than any other restaurant for most of the good stuff. By comparison, their pizza is maybe 15% pricier than a similar sized chain takeout pizza, but is far higher in quality.

German living in South Africa:
Nice place as it is actually in an area that you can walk some streets outside even at evening. This is probably what Expats miss in town most.
The waiters are nice (she was a little bit over-caring, but that happens a lot here and is better than not having a clue about service at all, which is usually the alternative).
They have good food. I had some of the Tapas and they are excellent. The restaurant is not the cheapest but worth the price.

Go for the amazing selection of on tap and bottled beer, stay for the amazing food and attentive service.
The mussels are wonderful and the steaks are perfectly cooked. Try the crispy squid heads and the pumpkin fritters to start.

I really liked the pizza and beer I had here. I had the vegetarian white pizza and it was exceptional. They made a great shareable salad for the table.
