Astonishingly good service! The most friendly, helpful staff that go out the way to make the stay more pleasant. The rooms are very comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend Firn Hill.

Old school with a touch of modern! Absolutely exquisite! The staff and their service (and the RATE at which they did things) was astounding. Always helpful, always with a smile. We had a few problems with the sound system. But i am not sure whether they got people in from outside Ie not sure who was responsible for it.

This place is meant to be a hotelier/hospitality training school, as well as a restaurant. The food is generally good, the waiters try hard but management is utterly useless. Their policy appears to be to leave their trainee staff unsupervised. Check your bill. The woman manager is arrogant as is usually the case with Midlands owners / managers and thinks it's excellent policy to pick fights with customers who question the fact that they have not trained the staff to capture credit card details. Extremely unprofessional. To be avoided

So lovely. Nice to sit down in a real restaurant and get 5 star service, food and atmosphere. Pity the other patrons could not behave! We loved It! Come here often and will return often!!

Popped in for a drink, sat at the bar and ordered a cheese board. Most amazingly presented cheese board that knocked our socks off!!! Well done to the kitchen staff for a beautifully plated snack!
